The annex (a 4* Visit Wales property) is self contained and furnished to a high standard with a quality kitchen and shower room. It has panoramic views over the Gower countryside. Rhossili beach, a 5 minute drive away, was awarded the best beach in the UK and the third best beach in Europe. It is a 15 minute walk to the Gower Coastal footpath and is ideal for walkers and couples seeking a relaxing rural break. We accept well behaved dogs and also can offer stabling and/or grazing if you want to bring your horse as well. Short breaks are also available out of season.

Great location and very comfortable annex

Came down to the Gower looking for a relaxing break and we were not disappointed. The Annexe was perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. We were made to feel very welcome by Jeanette and Steve in their recently built annexe. It was spotless, very well furnished and had wonderful views of the countryside. Just a few fields away from the coastal path it is the perfect spot for walkers. The Gower is a quiet corner of Wales to visit and it's remoteness is definitely part of the attraction for us. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to family or friends of any age.

Comfort, space & convenience

Wholeheartedly recommended - one of the best holiday lettings I've stayed in.

Spacious (including the shower cubicle!) - plenty of room for me and my stuff. The kitchen area had everything needed - including a dishwasher, so time-saving when one is on holiday - and plenty of work space. For once, there were plenty of convenient power points for all the gizmos - laptop, chargers, etc. - we carry these days. It was easily well-heated for the colder evenings - another thing which can be a bit problematic in some lettings.

Convenient for visiting the well-known holiday spots - Rhossili, Oxwich,etc - but away from the holiday bustle. Parking right outside the door, which is another big plus.

The owners were very friendly and helpful - Steve even helped me unload my car.

A little Gem !!!

I booked this 3 day break as a birthday surprise for my husband. This accomodation is just perfect, it is even better than the pictures. It is spotless and looks like everything in it is brand new. I actually wanted to move in!!! We have never visited the Gower before and now cant wait to go back. The owners were really friendly and I even got a peep at some newborn puppies , which was a real treat !! I would recommend this property to anyone who needs a relaxing, stress free break .

Outstanding property and location

We are committed self-caterers and always search for a property that is good for meeting that need as well as location. The Annex achieves this to a very high standard. The location is perfect for visiting all parts of Gower and while we had very good weather the accommodation would be very comfortable if wet and cold. Some great walking and wonderful beaches and coastline. Local store surprised us with some very good produce and prices making it easy to produce picnics and meals without visiting a large supermarket.

The space around the property adds to the appeal and sitting outside in the early evening was lovely. Great hosts with good advice and recommendations when needed.

Excellent View

Ideally situated for enjoying the beautiful Gower.Annex had everything needed for a couple,all very clean.Stunning view from patio,great to sit and enjoy in peaceful surroundings.Friendly,but not intrusive owners.Just one comment,would have liked to clean up dog hairs before we left but no vacuum or broom.Maybe a visitors book to leave any comments would be an idea.Would definitely recommend.

Special interest holidays:

We can offer stabling and grazing if you want to bring your horse. From the house you can access a wide range of bridleways with access to the beach during Oct to April.

We can also offer help with walking routes and can drive you to various destinations so that you can walk back to the house without taking your car. Picnic lunches are available on request.

Coast/Beach:

Rhossili beach is 5 mins drive away and Port Eynon Beach is a similar distance away from the property.

Travel:

Swansea Train station is half an hour's drive from the property and there is a local bus service which passes the house.

Distances:

There is a small local store at the bottom of the road.
