About the property

Apple Tree Annexe, Slinfold, Horsham, Sussex, England - Rural location with free use of "Beachcomber" hot tub. Beach hut available for nominal fee.

*Please note that there is some building work being carried out at a neighbouring property and although we would welcome guests as normal, we want to let you know that there may be some construction vehicle noise from 08:00 hrs Monday to Saturday, so we cannot guarantee the normal "peace and quiet" that our property would provide.*

Recently constructed self contained Annexe with double bedroom, shower, WC, kitchenette, lounge and south facing patio. Views across garden and paddock which is home to our horse "Captain" and various chickens. Close to "Downs Link" used by cyclists, horse riders and walkers. Not suitable for infirm, or children. Nearest railway station Horsham 15 minute drive. Not suitable for Pets or Children. No Smoking in accommodation.

Sehr gemütlich, ruhig und sauber. Die Eigentümerin ist sehr freundlich nett und hilfsbereit, dabei aber nicht aufdringlich. Sie wohnt gleich nebenan. Die Wohnung besteht aus einer Wohnküche mit kleiner Terrasse, einem Schlafzimmer, Diele und Bad. Zur Küche gehört neben Spüle und Kühlschrank eine Mikrowelle mit Grill, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher sowie eine externe Kochstelle mit 2 Platten. Für die kleine Küche zwischendurch völlig ausreichend. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Perfect!

We had the best weekend away in the lovely Annexe of Pauline and David. They were wonderful hosts , and a warm berry crumble upon our arrival was a real delight! (Thankyou Pauline). The annexe has everything you could possible need and more , and the hot tub was a real bubbly treat. Beautiful area and beautiful views. This really is the PERFECT destination for a quiet getaway in the English country side.

Great place to stay in the Sussex countryside

This is the second time we've stayed at Apple tree annexe. It's great for the two of us to see our friends and have a cosy retreat to chill out in. Pauline and David are great hosts and we hope to stay again soon.

THE BEST place to stay in West Sussex.. Would give it 20 out of 20 if we could.

We will be back next year, for the Goodwood Festival of Speed. as it's a perfect place to

stay for this event ! Fantastic owners, who are the friendliest people in the world, & should be

An Ideal Place To Get-Away-From-It-All

This property has 3 great things going for it.

Firstly, the hosts. Pauline and David are a delightful couple. Welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much for them. They made a wonderful stay a memorable experience.

Secondly, the property. The self-contained annexe offers all you could ever need for a short break or – as in my case – a slightly longer stay.

Thirdly, the location. Slap-bang in the middle of the beautiful Sussex countryside, the setting is both relaxing yet well situated to enjoy the surrounding towns and villages. Was exactly the break I needed having lived in a noisy capital city for the past 10 years.

All-in-all I can't recommend Apple Tree Annexe highly enough. 10-out-of-10 all round!

the annex is to close to the owners house, there is a door missing from the bedroom, the bed is very small, you can hear the owners moving around at night when trying to sleep, there is no oven in the kitchen, the microwave is small and takes forever to cook, the level of appliances in kitchen is poor, over all not as listed, will not be returning, very upset.

we are pleased that our stay was short.

Owner's Response: Disappointed with comments as we have had no complaints regarding the accommodation from any of our previous guests, who have left delightful reviews. "Missing" door leads to hanging space and cupboard. Kitchen appliances are as listed in our details. Bedroom has a standard double bed. "Annexe" definition from Collins Dictionary: "An annexe is a building which is joined to or is next to a larger main building". Please read any of our other numerous reviews and we look forward to welcoming you to our property, Pauline and David.
