The Cottage is the main property of Les Crozes. It has two large bedrooms (one double and one twin) and one bathroom upstairs with an open plan downstairs. The Cottage offers a bath and shower along with a cot if required. The Cottage is available all year round as the house is fully heated.
Les Crozes is in a perfect position just outside the impressive Domme town wall, in the countryside with superb views across the Dordogne region. Its location is ideal with easy walking into Domme with shops, cafes and restuarants, and yet, still peaceful. Equally, the Dordogne river is but 10 mins walk away. The property itself comprises a Cottage and Gite with terraced gardens to the rear including 4 small caves. It comes complete with BBQ s, WiFi, sun loungers and outside dining areas, all set in a superb location.
We live in the UK with our young daughter, son and spaniel, but travel back and forth to Les Crozes frequently. We've both travelled the world but find the romance and breathtaking views in the Dordogne to be the perfect place to unwind.
We are constantly updating the property so its always a very comfortable, relaxing and romantic place to stay, whatever time of year.
Piers Lewis purchased this cottage in 2011
We bought Les Crozes due to its perfect position.
Its right on the outskirts of one of the prettiest villages in France. The main town of Domme has stunning little streets and historic arches, fantastic artisan shops and wonderful restaurants and cafes.
The nice thing about our position is that you can walk in to the village in next to no time and be amongst the hustle and bustle, shops and eateries, or you can just relax in the garden and its really peaceful.
Les Crozes is also positioned perfectly in the 'Dordogne triangle' to make the most of all the local attractions and sights.
It is also the most fantastic wine and food region!
We thoroughly enjoy the ability to explore the Dordogne region from Les Crozes. We can also hire canoes only a 10 min walk away!
Also, with young children - we love walking into Domme with the panoramic views and having a choice of restaurants - child and dog friendly, we can both enjoy some wine and then stroll home, no car required.
Our daughter adores the Domme Le Petite Train as well as the fantastic river beaches at the bottom of the hill.
We love the french markets and brocantes. Everything is so very close and convenient.
And the views, and the light - ever-changing and always breathtaking!
