Modern clean and well equipped in good location

  • 4 of 5

The property is located in a good position with lovely views across the countryside. The site has good facilities bar/restaurant/takeaway & there is also a separate pub & pizza shack within the site, there was entertainment & a kids club. The outdoor pool is free but you need to pay to use the indoor leisure facilities(separate health club)

We stayed with 2 adults& 2 children (11 & 15) the accommodation is not huge but is modern clean & tastefully decorated & was nice to have our own picnic table outside. My only criticism is the sofa beds are not very comfortable, fine for sitting on though, but I had to sleep on one (due to husbands snoring!) Overall very good accommodation with beautiful beaches within short driving distances.Highly recommend Splash leisure pool, Bude on a rainy day. Widemouth bay is a lovely beach & Bude is great for shopping & eating out.

What felt like a Lovely little family home

  • 4 of 5

We loved our stay at the cottage. It had all that you need to make you feel at home. The rooms were just the right size for my husband and I and our 2 little children (5 & 2). The kids loved it. Could do with a better clean by the cleaner as there was still a lot of dirty and dust which we had to go over on 1st day of arrival but otherwise, it was lovely. Very close to the main road which took you anywhere you needed to. We would definately go back.

Owner's Response: We are pleased you enjoyed your stay but sincerely apologise that the floor of the bungalow was dusty. Following our chat over email, this will be followed up with the housekeepers. Thank you so much for your feedback as we need to know when things aren't right in order that we can rectify them. Kindest regards, Jane

Lovely time

  • 4 of 5

Lovely stay in Cornwall albeit with mixed weather. The bungalow was clean and well maintained, it was also well kitten out, we didn't want for anything in the kitchen etc. Worth knowing that you need to bring necessities like dishcloths, washing up liquid, bin bags, hand soap and toilet roll, not a big deal but makes it easier if you have them with you from day 1. Having the in site pool was a life saver as we had torrential rain for the first two days, the outdoor pool looked lovely although we didn't get chance to use it. The area is beautiful and you really are within around an hours drive from all the main attractions. We did the Eden project and visited Rick stein's fish and chip shop in Padstow as well as pottering around Bude.

Really nice bungalow

  • 5 of 5

It was our first time in this lovely bungalow and second time in this holiday park.Great location for family holidays, nice view through the front windows. Well maintained, was nice and tidy for our arrival, only one little thing- bathroom is tiny. Loved the open plan kitchen - sitting room, bedrooms are good size. We already recommend to our friends with kids and would like to come back again in the future.
