Apartment in Seahouses, Northumberland, England - Perfect location on Northumberland`s heritage coastline and Seahouses` busy harbour.

This luxury property comfortably sleeps up to 4 people in two en suite bedrooms (one with bath, one with shower). Both rooms have super king double beds, though either or both can be changed to twins if preferred. The master bedroom also benefits from dramatic sea views. Both bedrooms have flat screen wall mounted TVs (the second a TV/DVD player).

The finish and decor of the apartment is of the highest quality, designed and furnished by award winning interior designers. Its beautiful modern dining kitchen is well equipped and has its own West facing balcony from where you can enjoy the afternoon/evening sun with beautiful views of Northumberland`s breathtaking countryside and the Cheviot hills.

The tastefully furnished comfortable lounge is a blissful place to take in the spectacular views of Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle and the Farne Islands.

There is a wide range of outdoor activities on your doorstep including organised boat trips from the harbour; fantastic links golf courses; wonderful coastal walks and some outstanding local pubs and restaurants.

The apartment also benefits from family membership of the adjacent Ocean Club with full use of its facilities including indoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna and spa.

Great place to stay in Seahouses

Seascape is a lovely flat with great views of the sea and the Farne Islands. The flat is very comfortable with secure parking as well as all the amenities we expected in a quality holiday home. Seahouses itself offers plenty of places to eat and it is an ideal base for visiting Bamburgh. Holy Island etc. We would recommend this flat to anyone wanting a holiday in the area. The ability to use the Ocean Leisure Club is an added bonus.

5 star rugged beauty in coastal Northumberland.

THANK YOU! We have had the most amazing stay in this beautiful apartment, a home away from home. It had everything we needed, and more and all very clean and comfortable. Very homely. Steve and Debbie provided us with all the information we needed regarding places to go around the area. We managed to cram alot of fun and interesting things in our week here. A marvellous apartment in a great location. We will recommend it to all our friends, and this apartment allows you to travel down to Newcastle, Yorkshire, and we even hopped the border into Edinburgh for the day. The Northumberland coastline was absolutely fantastic, Holy Island was desolate and stunning, and there are a selection of castles near to Seahouses to visit for the day. We will never forget our experience here, and we will be back! - The Lewis', Devon

Excellent apartment with stunning sea view

The apartment was very comfortable with enticing decor and wonderful views of the coastline. Everything was supplied including linens, towels and a welcome pack. The beds were very comfortable ensuring a good nights rest, ready to explore the wonderful area from the well positioned apartment. Plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance of the apartment solve any nutritional needs!

Really lovely apartment with views straight out to sea.

We stayed here for the last week of September. The flat was spacious and first class in all it had to offer. It was lovely and clean and the welcome pack certainly started us off with milk, cheese, bread and butter.

Beautiful apartment in fabulous location!

Seascape is a very well furnished and equipped apartment in arguably the best location in Seahouses. It has beautiful, uninterrupted views of the sea, looking towards Farne Islands but is close to all the amenities of Seahouses.

It has everything you could possibly want if you wish to self-cater but is close to good restaurants too.

Steven couldn't have been more helpful with advice.

First Class seaview apartment with stunning views

This was our second stay at 'Seascape'. The apartment is beautifully furnished, clean and very well equipped, the beds are really comfortable and the views are stunning. The location in Seahouses is handy for the shops and also perfect for the beach. We had days out in Alnwick, Bamburgh and Holy Island and called in Morpeth on the way home. The rest of the time we enjoyed chilling out in this perfect spot. We came home feeling refreshed and looking forward to returning next year. Communication with the owners was excellent, directions and entry information very clear. I would recommend this apartment to everyone! Thank you very much Steven & Deborah.

The location is simply stunning with fantastic views out to sea and wonderful coastal walks. The property is handy for all local amenities, shops & restaurants as it is less than 5 minutes walk into the village of Seahouses..

Special interest holidays:

The Farne Islands are possibly the most exciting seabird colony in England with unrivalled views of 23 species, including around 37,000 pairs of puffin.

It's also home to a large grey seal colony, with more than 1,000 pups born every autumn.

Historically, the islands have strong links with Celtic Christianity and St Cuthbert, who lived here in the 7th Century.

There's also a medieval pele tower and Victorian lighthouse here, plus a visitor centre and easy access boardwalk.

Many of the islands hide underwater at high tide. Visitors pass lots of these inaccessible islets on boat trips - a short journey to a different world!

Originally home to the Lindisfarne Gospels and the site of grisly Viking attacks, a visit to Lindisfarne Priory is a great day out in Northumberland. Sitting offshore on Holy Island and reached by a causeway at low tide, the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful view is an experience to behold. Boat trips from Seahouses run several times daily in the summer months.

Coast/Beach:

Bamburgh is notable for two reasons: the imposing Bamburgh Castle, seat of the former Kings of Northumbria, and at present owned by the Armstrong family, overlooking the extensive award winning sandy beach; and its association with the Victorian heroine, Grace Darling, who is buried there.

Bamburgh is popular with holidaymakers and is within the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Travel:

Flights land at Newcastle International Airport, a 45 minute drive away. As well as domestic flights, Newcastle welcomes flights from across the globe including direct Emirates flights from Australia and New Zealand.

Less than three hours from London Kings Cross, stations on the East Coast mainline from London Kings Cross to Aberdeen include Newcastle, Morpeth, Alnmouth and Berwick-upon-Tweed. Connecting westbound services are run by CrossCountry and Hadrian’s Wall Country Line.

The property is non-smoking throughout, and (sorry) does not accept pets. Seascape`s electric heating and hot water system is supported by Solar panels. A travel cot & high chair are also available at this property free of charge but must be requested on your booking prior to arrival. A starter selection of toiletries will be provided. A good housekeeping bond of £200 is required to be lodged during your stay, returnable upon departure. Outside: Outside ground level store suitable for storage of cycles and other leisure equipment.
