Apartment in Seahouses, Northumberland, England - Perfect location on Northumberland`s heritage coastline and Seahouses` busy harbour.

This luxury property comfortably sleeps up to 4 people in two en suite bedrooms (one with bath, one with shower). Both rooms have super king double beds, though either or both can be changed to twins if preferred. The master bedroom also benefits from dramatic sea views. Both bedrooms have flat screen wall mounted TVs (the second a TV/DVD player).

The finish and decor of the apartment is of the highest quality, designed and furnished by award winning interior designers. Its beautiful modern dining kitchen is well equipped and has its own West facing balcony from where you can enjoy the afternoon/evening sun with beautiful views of Northumberland`s breathtaking countryside and the Cheviot hills.

The tastefully furnished comfortable lounge is a blissful place to take in the spectacular views of Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle and the Farne Islands.

There is a wide range of outdoor activities on your doorstep including organised boat trips from the harbour; fantastic links golf courses; wonderful coastal walks and some outstanding local pubs and restaurants.

Notes on accommodation: Children are very welcome at Seascape, though guests should be aware that this is a first floor apartment with a balcony deck. The property is non-smoking throughout, and (sorry) does not accept pets. Seascape`s electric heating and hot water system is supported by Solar panels. A travel cot & high chair are also available at this property free of charge but must be requested on your booking prior to arrival. A starter selection of toiletries will be provided. A good housekeeping bond of £200 is required to be lodged during your stay, returnable upon departure. Outside: Outside ground level store suitable for storage of cycles and other leisure equipment. The property has two private balconies - One to the front overlooking the rocky shore (great for rock pooling with or without the kids) towards the Farne Islands, and one to the rear off the kitchen dining room, making the most of evening sun. Utility Room: Iron/ironing board Outside shed with 2 sets of golf clubs. Private car parking Washer/Drier Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bedding, bed linen, towels, electricity and heating is included. A starter selection of toiletries will be provided. Perfect base for a week in Northumberland

Had a really enjoyàble week in Seàhouses. Flat was in a great location, was perfectly presented and had absolutely everything we needed to have a great break.

Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony of an evening looking out over the beach to the sea and watching all the healthy walkers whilst we sat and enjoyed a nice bottle of wine.

Lots of good food nearby, plenty walks and some great golf - Steven's suggestion to go to Dunstanborough Castle GC was on the money.

Great Location close to the Beach

The apartment is close to the beach which makes it ideal for longer walks or jogging. It has high standard, was very clean and comfortable with all what you would need. It is also a perfect spot to explore Northumberland.

Despite being close to the main road is was surprisingly quiet. Steven was very supportive prior and during our stay. The Ocean Club is close by and great for swimming with the kid. The additional fee per visit to the swimming pool were a bit of an unpleasant surprise but it was worth it for the kids. I would recommend this apartment to everyone!

The location of the apartment, looking right onto the fabulous beach and the sea, was perfect.

We had a wonderful time. We walked endlessly on the stunning, clean, sandy beach between Seahouses and Bamburgh and braved the water which was so envigorsting. A short stroll into Seahouses was always a pleasure, with everyone so friendly. The wider area is fascinating and beautiful. The apartment is modern, well-equipped and warm. A perfect week and very helpful owner.

Great location. Well equipped Extemely comfortable

The apartment was great. The location was fantastic and close to all of Seahouses many amenities. The apartment had all the comforts of home ( except Sky Sports) The kitchen had everything we needed. The living room was excellent and the views to the Farne Islands was spectacular and almost the first view seen in the morning. Despite being located on a main road the traffic noise was negligible. We enjoyed walks to both Bamburgh and to Beadnell. the weather was windy but sunny and showed off apartment and the local area off to its best. The two criticisms were there was no welcome pack as promised and the outside windows needed cleaning. I would recommend the apartment for short breaks like ours ( three nights) or for longer holidays. A truly relaxing and enjoyable break. We visit this area regularly and will use this apartment again if available.

Special interest holidays:

The Farne Islands are possibly the most exciting seabird colony in England with unrivalled views of 23 species, including around 37,000 pairs of puffin.

It's also home to a large grey seal colony, with more than 1,000 pups born every autumn.

Historically, the islands have strong links with Celtic Christianity and St Cuthbert, who lived here in the 7th Century.

There's also a medieval pele tower and Victorian lighthouse here, plus a visitor centre and easy access boardwalk.

Many of the islands hide underwater at high tide. Visitors pass lots of these inaccessible islets on boat trips - a short journey to a different world!

Originally home to the Lindisfarne Gospels and the site of grisly Viking attacks, a visit to Lindisfarne Priory is a great day out in Northumberland. Sitting offshore on Holy Island and reached by a causeway at low tide, the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful view is an experience to behold. Boat trips from Seahouses run several times daily in the summer months.

Coast/Beach:

Bamburgh is notable for two reasons: the imposing Bamburgh Castle, seat of the former Kings of Northumbria, and at present owned by the Armstrong family, overlooking the extensive award winning sandy beach; and its association with the Victorian heroine, Grace Darling, who is buried there.

Bamburgh is popular with holidaymakers and is within the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Travel:

Flights land at Newcastle International Airport, a 45 minute drive away. As well as domestic flights, Newcastle welcomes flights from across the globe including direct Emirates flights from Australia and New Zealand.

Less than three hours from London Kings Cross, stations on the East Coast mainline from London Kings Cross to Aberdeen include Newcastle, Morpeth, Alnmouth and Berwick-upon-Tweed. Connecting westbound services are run by CrossCountry and Hadrian’s Wall Country Line.
