Lovely clean cottage in great seaside location
Great little cottage for our family with 2 young children. Clean, well equipped and nicely furnished and decorated. Lovely location close to the centre of the village and nice beaches. Sam was helpful and gave us all the info we needed. Would recommend and would like to return!
Lovely, cosy retreat.
We had a fabulous stay in Tyn Lon. The cottage was cosy, warm and well equipped. It is in walking distance of the beach and all cafes and restaurants. The locals are very friendly and we celebrated New Year in Sullivan's a local wine bar. Fabulous! The cottage was lovely and clean and well maintained. There is a private garden at the back which would be safe for children and our black Labrador loved it. We would definitely return.
This cottage is in a perfect location just down the road from the shops and restaurants and within 5 mins walk to the beaches and across the road from the beautiful lake. The enclosed large garden was perfect for sitting in as it has the advantage of sunshine from early morning until late evening. You can also hear the ocean in the mornings.
The cottage has everything you will need to cater for yourself and the rooms are definitely larger than they appear online.
I really hope to return to this beautiful area and cannot think of a more suitable location than Tyn Lon.
I would definitely recommend the cottage as it was spotless on arrival, the owners were very helpful and the neighbours were also very friendly.
Lovely base to explore
Tyn Lon was a perfect base for exploring Anglesey and the North Wales Coast. Half of my family came by train and it really is any easy 20 min walk from the station, the other half by car via the excellent A55!! Llanberis (home of Snowdon's mountain railway) is only 40 minutes away and is definitely worth a day out. The local beach is lovely and we defy anyone not to enjoy ice creams from Chapmans on the High Street!!
Lovely little cottage
This was our second holiday in this cottage. We had such a lovely holiday last summer so came back for another fortnight this year. It is small, but has everything you need and is all very nicely decorated and comfortable.
The cottage is very close to the beach - we could easily walk with our 2 and 5 year old kids. The garden is also very safe for the kids and big enough for them to have a proper play and run around. The kids loved the bunk beds and I think we all slept better there than we do at home.
I cooked most days and found the kitchen very well equipped with everything I needed. We ate out a few times in cafés / restaurants in Rhosneigr - including Oyster Catcher and Mojo pancake place - it's very easy to walk to all the shops and eateries in the centre.
We had another lovely holiday - Anglesey is brilliant for families with young children - I'd recommend it for anyone!
Very nice, perfect for family with young children
We had a super week's holiday in this cosy cottage - the garden flowers on the kitchen table when we arrived were a lovely idea. There are lots of nice touches and the owners have thoughtfully provided very useful items such as wind breaks and children's beach toys. The large kitchen with additional sofa was brilliant for us, especially useful at bedtime/early evening when our small children were getting off to sleep. The bed was comfortable and the flexible sleeping arrangements suited us perfectly. Our toddler loved the garden - as did we, it was just a shame the weather wasn't nice enough to use it a bit more. We very much liked the proximity to the beaches and the village centre, easy walks either way and we had a nice lunch in lovely surroundings at the local Oystercatcher restaurant.
The owners have been very pleasant and helpful to deal with and I agree with other comments that the photo's probably do not do justice to the cottage. I would recommend this certainly if, like us, you are looking for a nice, quiet place to stay for a relaxing break with no razzmatazz. I wish we had been staying another week!
