About Mr. Ian MacGregor

My name is Ian MacGregor and I am the second generation owner. The property is also enjoyed by the third and fourth generations! When I am not living in Casa Katherine, I live in London. I am now retired having spent much of my working life dealing with works of art.

Mr. Ian MacGregor purchased this villa in 1965

Why Mr. Ian MacGregor chose Javea, Moraira and Denia Area

The house was built here in 1965 because of the lovely views, especially of Montgo.

We have excellent quality mains water, ample electricity supplies, modern kitchen appliances,TV, DVD, WIFI and the swimming pool.

I have spent many very enjoyable holidays here as a youngster. My wife and I have enjoyed seeing our children enjoying themselves from as early as their first birthday. The latter now come and enjoy this home with their offspring.

What makes this villa unique

This is an English family home in Spain built in the finca style with it's lovely naya, hand made brick floors, wooden beams and traditional windows.

I enjoy sitting in the naya admiring it's Tosca stone arches which were cut from the Tosca stone seam by the port. I love the tranquility, the waft of scent from the Jasmine, the burning of wild rosemary and other herbs coming from the Barbecue. The swimming pool is always so inviting!

Above all, it's a very comfortable family home which we all love and enjoy and I hope you will as well!

Our nearest airports are Alicante to the south and Valencia to the north. They are about 90 and 100 minutes comfortable drive respectively, on the AP7 motorway. There are plenty of car hire companies at both airports.
