A good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants are only a short level walk. Other facilities in the village include an excellent 18-hole golf course, horse-riding, surfing and kite-school, tennis, bowls and much more. Sleeps 6. Steps to the first floor balcony. Entrance hall giving access to the kitchen, lounge/diner, two bedrooms and a shower room. Kitchen: Tiled floor, electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and a washer/drier. Lounge / diner: Large dining table with chairs, two large leather sofas, easy chairs, TV and a DVD player. Two bedrooms: Bedroom One: Twin beds (3ft). Bedroom two: Double bed (4ft 6ins) with Bunk beds (3ft). Both rooms have ample storage space. Shower room: Fully tiled room with a walk-in shower (electric), wash hand basin, heated towel rail and WC.

"We stayed for a week at Glas Mor at Sand Bay apartments. It had everything we needed and more. It was bigger than we expected, clean and bright. The view from our back windows was amazing from morning to dusk. Being next to the beach attracted us and didn't disappoint, only 2 mins. So many attractions, I surfed for the first time with Perranporth Surf School, who are great whatever level you are. "

• RNLI Lifeguards are on duty at the end of the beach closest to the town from

1st May to the 30th September

October half term.

Lifeguards are also stationed at the Perran Sands end of Perranporth beach from mid May to the end of September.

• Perranporth beach is dog friendly allowing dogs on the beach all year round. From July to September dogs must be kept on a short lead between 10am and 5pm.

• Perranporth has access to South West coast paths in both directions for walking and exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall.
