5 Pentire Rocks is a very attractive contemporary ground floor apartment with its own enclosed sunny garden and patio area. It is perfect for a family with young children and just 5 mins walk from Polzeath beach. The property has been beautifully designed for modern comfortable living and has been tastefully furnished. The beach has a vast expanse of sand and great surf so it is a very popular destination for teenagers. The beach is home to 2 surf schools with equipment hire, lively cafes and restaurants. There are also retail shops and a convenience store. The property has views of the sea and the coast line to Pentire Point and is a perfect location for coastal walks (north to Lundy bay , Port Quin and Port Issac or south to Daymer bay and Rock beach). There are 2 golf courses nearby and an enormous range of activities on offer including surfing, water skiing, coasteering, kayaking, cycling, sailing, golf and tennis. It is also close to Rock and Padstow with shopping and superb restaurants including Rick Stein's famous 'Seafood Restaurant.' The water ferry runs constantly from Rock to padstow during the day and makes a great day out. The 'Camel Treail" from wade bridge to Padstow is a well known cycle route for all ages and cycle hire is easy to organise.

My husband and I bought 5 Pentire Rocks after several years of very happy beach holidays in this area with our 2 young boys. They are now 16 and 19 and keen surfers, they still love the family holiday as much as ever as it is such a popular destination for teenagers.

We love the location because it has something for everyone. I love the coastal walks and views, our teenage boys love the enormous variety of water sports available and my husband enjoys eating in good restaurants and the feeling that he is a long way from work and the city!

What makes this apartment unique

The property is a perfect location for walkers (5 mins walk to the coastal path) or beach lovers (5 mins walk to the beach). Just a short drive and then one can access superb restaurants in Rock or the ferry ride to Padstow for more gourmet and shopping.

Outside: There is an enclosed garden with a sunny patio are, garden furniture for 6 and a BBQ is provided. there is an outside shower to use when coming in form the beach to wash wetsuits etc. Boogie boards and beach equipment is available to use in the garden shed Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The linen and bath towels are provided and included in the price. The property is cleaned before arrival. Cleaning during your stay can be arranged at an extra cost

Very well situated for the beach. A very well equipped and comfortable flat . We particularly appreciated the hot outside shower when returning from body boarding and the speedy wifi!

Lovely property, light and airy, nicely furnished and comfortably sized for 4 adults. A very short walk from the beach and amenities of Polzeath. Would highly recommend!

Lovely area, lots to enjoy however active you to be or not be.

The accommodation is a minute from the beach which is great quality and enjoys many good places to enjoy food and a drink.

Polzeath beach is 5 mins walk on coastal path or 5 mins drive. It is a vast expanse of sand and surf ideal for surfers and young children to enjoy bean activities or rock pools.

Daymer bay is 30mins walk on the coastal path or 10mins drive. It is also perfect for children to enjoy beach activities and rock pools and the sea is good for wind surfers

Rock beach is 15 mins drive and ideal for sailing and water skiing.


Use of a car is recommended. Bodmin parkway is the nearest train station 12km away and Newquay airport is 18km


The north coast of Cornwall is an area of outstanding beauty with Truro and Eden Project within an hour's drive. Newquay is 45 mins drive and offers more superb surfing beaches. Padstow is 30 mins drive or 5 min ferry crossing to numerous shops and excellent restaurants.
