A large, charming and unusual period house situated close to Lymington Town Quay and the delightful "Cobbles", with Olde Worlde pubs and shops.

Incredible location!

Enjoy a fresh crab sandwich and watch the yachts come and go at the Quay. The property benefits from 3 double bedrooms, with two day beds in the main living areas.

A large open plan kitchen adjoins the dining and sitting room, which in turn overlook the gardens and down the lane to the Boat Yard. From the open plan sitting room the french doors lead to a paved seating area with tables and chairs, right next to the wonderful hot tub.

As the night's close in there is an additional snug with brick open fireplace and our extensive library to browse too! With its own parking place the convenience is complete.

Oh finally, great Pub, The Kings Head fifty yards away and the wonderful Haven Bar along a brisk Coastal walk.

Fabulous house in a fabulous location

We had a lovely week's stay here in August. The house is beautiful and located a stones throw from Lymington High Street. Samantha was very helpful when we had a couple of queries.

We would love to return next year.

Beautiful, well-appointed cottage

Spent a very enjoyable week in this cottage in Lymington. Very well-appointed with luxury bedding. Only downside was finding parking for guests but that was soon sorted.

Location, location , location

We really enjoyed our stay in Lymington. The property was as described & very well equipped & furnished to a high standard. The location is fantastic - just off the quay and High St. The hot tub was a great hit and enjoyed by young & old alike. The owner was very helpful, ensuring we had a high chair & checking everything was OK. We found the lack of outside space a slight disadvantage with young children. The oven is past its best, setting off the smoke alarm regularly and with no markings left on the controls it was hard to regulate. Other than that I would recommend this property, especially for families with older children and adults not planning to do a lot of cooking!

Does everything is says on the TIN

We had four (4) generations from 97 to 7 years old, 6 people in all and can honestly say had a really great time. The house was excellent, in a great location and for our first time in Lymington I don't think we could have chosen better.

If we were to do this area another time we would absolutely use this house again.

Wonderful property, ideal and convenient location

Excellent stay with family and friends visiting. Brilliant location to be able to walk out into the high street, Quay with total ease. Parking space a real bonus. Beautiful property with two lovely living areas and excellent kitchen and equipment. Super location to explore town and ease of access in and out of New Forest area. Train station within walking distance also great for those that visited. Owner caring and kindly arranged to return a few items I rather foolishly left behind. We will definietly return.

This beautiful period house started as a bakery in the mid-1800's and now has every modern facility and a Hot Tub! Proximity to the New Forest with its vast tracts of open space (and the ponies!) is a joy, but the location of the cottage, tucked in the bustling old town gives a convenient and sharp contrast!

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

Lymington is situated on the South Coast, with extensive walks and cycle rides from the property which adjoins the coast.

Travel:

Nearest main airport is Southampton, the house is easily accessible by frequent trains in around an hour from there.

Travel to Lymington Town Railway station and walk just a hundred yards to the house.

By train from London, Waterloo station, in around 2 hours.

Driving from London is simple by travelling South West along the M3 motorway, in around two and a half hours.

Distances:

Lymington town - 0 miles;

New Forest - 1 mile;

National Motor Museum, Beaulieu - 7 miles;

Isle of Wight - 1 hour by ferry from Lymington;

Portsmouth Naval Dockyard - 42 miles ( 1 hour)
