Bungalow set within One Acre Of Grass Area

Bryanack is very close to the coastal paths, so leave your car behind and enjoy lovely coastal walks to the beaches of Porthtowan and Portreath. Trevaunance Cove is a 90-minute coastal walk and the unspoilt National Trust beach at Chapel Porth is just 1 mile away. St Agnes village has many small shops, inns and restaurants providing a very welcoming atmosphere. There is a bus service to local areas including the city of Truro, approximately 9 miles away, with its many facilities including a railway station. St Agnes is ideally placed for many visitor attractions including the famous Eden Project which is approx. 45 minutes drive. The bungalow is entered via a porch into the open plan living/dining area which is furnished to a high standard and includes TV, DVD player, CD/radio player and a log burning stove (logs are not provided although customers are welcome to buy their own to use the log burner). The lounge has windows to the front and side to maximize the views. The fitted kitchen is open to the fully equipped dining area enjoying fabulous views from the patio window over the Atlantic coastline or by walking through the sliding patio door leading onto a decked patio providing outside garden furniture and a barbecue. The kitchen is provided with a washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric oven with ceramic hob and a microwave oven. There are three bedrooms: Master bedroom with a double bed (4ft 6" ) with a colour t.v and DVD player. This room has stunning views over open countryside. Two further bedrooms: two 3ft beds in each. The bungalow benefits from a bathroom and separate shower room both fitted to a high standard. The bathroom is fully tiled with a full size bath with an overhead shower, a washbasin, w.c and electric heated towel rail. The shower room is fully tiled with a walk in shower, a washbasin, w.c and an electric heated towel rail. WiFi. The bungalow has oil fired central heating, a log burning stove for those chilly winter nights and stunning views both over National Trust coastline to the Atlantic Ocean and over open countryside. There is parking for two cars

Very disappointing

The owners decorated the cottage very tastefully for Christmas.

Unfortunately there were constant problems with the property as described here:

Upon arrival there was no heating and the fridge/freezer was not working.

We discovered that four switches in the fuse box had been tripped.

One of the switches tripped again during one night when I needed to visit the bathroom.

The heating went failed more than once during our stay.

The rocker switch for the bedside lamp in the bedroom shared with my wife was faulty and unusable.

One of the air vents in the lounge had been damaged and caused a constant moaning sound.

The owners were very apologetic and brought us bags of fuel for the fire, two electric heaters and a bottle of wine.

We eventually left a day early as we did not feel secure in the property.

I would like to impress on you the fact that I have to use blood thinners and my wife has rheumatoid arthritis which means that both of us need to remain warm and dry.

Moreover, my mother-in-law who was staying with us also uses blood thinners and is eighty-nine years old.

We are glad to be back home!

As far as we were aware it had all been rectified and you were happy with the response. We have a 24 hour helpline for guests, and endeavour to make every holiday as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, so are disappointed that we weren't given the opportunity to make things better while you were here, if there were issues that hadn't been resolved. We sincerely apologise for any discomfort you experienced and are glad to hear that you liked the Christmas decorations which had been put up especially. • Perranporth has access to South West coast paths in both directions for walking and exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall.
