This is a fantastic penthouse apartment which is beautifully furnished, spacious and bright and has large terraces with the most spectacular sea and mountain views overlooking Puerto Banus. Medina Gardens is within 300 metres of all amenities and 100 metres walk to the lovely beaches. A boardwalk has recently been constructed and it is ideal for long walks along the coast in both directions. Also it is used for cycling.

About Linda Stevens

I purchased this penthouse in 2002 and have enjoyed many wonderful holidays with family and friends. We come back time and again every year.

I have been renting it for seven years to young families, golfers, holiday makers and retirees. The penthouse is furnished as a home instead of a rental property. I am based in London where I run my own business.

I am supported by a multi-lingual onsite property manager who is available to help you and ensure that you have the most enjoyable stay.

Why Linda Stevens chose Marbella

We spent five years renting apartments in Andalucia Del Mar with a young family and friends. During that time we watched with amazement at the building of Medina Garden. We thought that we would love one, and so we did. With its massive space, views, wrap-around terrace and all our needs catered for, the penthouse was the only one for us.

The guarded security access, beautiful gardens and pool, was, and still is, ideal for for family holidays, and my daughter, now 25, still keeps coming back. The proximity of the beach, and not to mention the wine bars and restaurants in the harbour coupled with the perfect Costa del Sol year round climate also help too!

What makes this apartment unique

We began, and continue to make the penthouse our 'home from home' and leave nothing spared for comfort. everything is all on one level and even during winter, spring and autumn, it continues to provide the ideal place to relax and enjoy the friendliness of the area, be it the jet-setting harbour or the nearby old Andalucia charm Rhonda, San Pedro, Estapona and Benahavis, to name but just a few.

Puerto Banus is almost equidistant from Malaga and Gibraltar airports, and the Spanish road infrastructure is second to none in Europe thereby making a driving holiday so easy and comfortable. We can work from the penthouse and have easy connections to international flights. And if you are a golfer, there's are so many fabulous courses to experience.

Well, what can we say? What a fantastic holiday and what a fantastic penthouse apartment. We have stayed in lots of lovely places all over the world but nothing has beaten the views from your terraces from morning sunrise to evening sunset.

We love Puerto Banus and we loved your apartment. Great memories and I'm sure we'll be back!

Outside: The Medina Garden complex is set in beautiful gardens. The landscaped gardens include a large swimming pool, paddle tennis court, and a safe children's area. There is a lifeguard on duty at the pool throughout the high season. Utility Room: The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer, with an outside balcony with clothes airer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and beach towels are included, along with bed-linnen. The penthouse is cleaned before arrival and after departure. An onsite manager can arrange for additional cleaning, cots, and a high chair, and will meet and greet you upon arrival. Other: The main terrace has relaxation area with sunbeds and also an outdoor dining area with spectacular sea views and views of Puerto Banus, the second terrace has a breakfast dining table with views of the beautiful "La Concha" mountain.

Views amazing! Flat beautiful, spacious, can't wait to return!

We've been coming here for years and 'El Atico' gets better every time. 2 minute walk to the beach and so close to restaurants in walking distance and many more in the hills a short taxi ride away. Check out Benahavis and Los Naranjos for experiences off the beaten track! Lovely concierge and friendly neighbours down at the pool. A great base. Counting down to our return!

Fantastic relaxing holiday

We stayed for 10 days in June at Linda's apartment. It was the perfect apartment for the 3 of us, so spacious, well appointed, with glorious terraces which got the sun all day with very comfortable sun lounges. When we did venture out, it was 5 minutes to the beach, 10 to the marina and about 15 minutes to the large Hipercor supermarket which sold everything. It's location was just ideal. Linda was good at communicating with us and booking was straightforward. Medina Gardens is very well maintained and the security guards at the entrance very helpful and friendly. We will be back.

Easter Sun

I rented this apartment for 10 days over Easter with my wife and two children and had the most fantastic relaxing break. The booking process was very easy and had contact almost immediately with Linda who owns the property and kept in touch right up to the day of our arrival which was really nice.

Entering the apartment you instantly realise that it is a very Special Penthouse with sunshine flooding in through all of the windows. Bedrooms are a great size, a very well equipped kitchen and enough eating areas both inside and out for a dozen people easy. Walking distance into the Port is a very leisurely 5mins stroll along the boardwalk where the choice of bars and restaurants is plentiful. We will be back to rent you lovely property again without a doubt.

Fabulous views and great family apartment

I stayed at this great penthouse apartment for a week with my husband, parents and 17 month old toddler.

We were pleasantly surprised at how big and spacious the apartment was and were blown away by the amazing views of the mountains and the sea. The terrace is fantastic as you can eat al fresco but also sun bathe and generally relax and take in the views. After quickly baby proofing the place, we were more than happy to let our daughter roam about freely - which she loved to do. The pool is also very quiet and great for little ones as there is a shallow area which seems to be in the shade for most of the day. The rest of the apartment complex is very well maintained and we felt safe throughout our stay. Linda was very welcoming and friendly from the moment I enquired about the apartment. She left some really thoughtful gifts for us when we arrived and even took the time to return some clothes to us which we left behind. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and even came with a very new looking baby high chair. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend El Atico to families and friends alike.

From the minute we walked through the front door of the Penthouse we knew the stay would be perfect and on the last day nothing has changed besides we know where we will be coming next year – only a week is not enough!! Being with my parents (both pensioners) the location was exactly the short walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants as described. The night life is great with friendly bars and lots of dancing (and singing) should you want too!

The Penthouse is nothing short of a home from home, clean, spacious with enough room and space for everyone – should you need a break from the family and read a book in the quiet! With everything you need – there is nothing else at all we could have asked for – everything was here! Between the 3 terraces you can get the sunshine all day, also hide from it should you need shade. Worth every penny and cannot wait to come back!

You can stroll along the beach side path to Puerto Banus, you will find many excellent beach chirringuitos, bars and beach clubs, water sports facilities - the beach is very safe for children.

A short stroll away is the trendy “Ocean Club” – luxurious sun beds, fully serviced restaurant and bars, two enormous swimming pools and firework displays, plus a boardwalk which is ideal for cycling.


The nearest airport is Malaga approx 60 km

WHEN LEAVING THE AIRPORT. Turn right onto the N340/E15 coast road sign posted to Cadiz and Algeciras, which are 170 and 70 miles away respectively. We recommend that you take the toll motorway, the E15/A7.

The drive from the airport takes approximately 45 minutes

A 33% deposit of the total rental is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance is due six weeks before your arrival. For July and August, we require 50% deposit.
A refundable breakages deposit of €300 euros is required on arrival, and will be refunded within two weeks of your departure - subject to satisfactory property inspection.
