We live and work in Cork, Ireland with our children.

We experienced Saint Cyprien with family and friends some years ago and continued to vacate there over the years. We find Saint Cyprien to be a very lively place, with great weather all year round, that suits all ages and decided to invest in this apartment, with a view to enjoyment and sharing.

We trust you will find it as homely and enjoyable as we do and we hope that you will return again and again to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the complex, while able to travel to the nearby port, aqua park, golf and other amenities for their active participation. By car: you have a 12 hour drive depending on port and route: Roscoff, Cherbourg, Calais.

Outside: The apartment is set in secure private beautifully landscaped grounds with a spacious and very impressive swimming pool ( where you can plunge to your heart's content ) (sun loungers included). Shower, changing rooms and toilets are available off the large terrace and are maintained to a high level of cleanliness. Only a short 10 minute walk from miles of sandy beaches, the apartment complex offers views of the Pyrenees and Marina. The car park is secured by electronic gates and a private car space is provided. A short cut by secure side gate gets you to local shops, literally in a minute! A boules area is also available to the rear of the swimming pool. Utility Room: Cleaning apparatus including Vacuum cleaner, brush, mop, bucket, basins, cloths and cleaning agents, washing machine/dishwasher agents supplied. We had a lovely time in St Cyprien and surrounding area. The apartment is excellent, the location and facilities are ideal with everything close by. Nathalie met us and smooth handover on both occasions. We will definitely consider staying there again.

Wonderful relaxing stay

My wife and I stayed as part of her first retirement vacation. The apartment was exactly as presented on the website. It was very clean and all the facilities were top quality. Being September, the swimming pool was very quiet - lovely! The area was quiet and we liked the security. The balcony looking out over the marina was superb. I loved throwing bread for the ducks!!! There were shops and restaurants within a minute's walk. Nathalie, the French lady who meets and greets, was very friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment. Thank you.

modern, clean apartment in great location

A really accurate description of apartment and surrounding area as advertised on the website. Owners really helpful and very quick to reply to emails and questions. Apartment spotless, modern , really well equipped, fantastic quiet location with lovely view of marina, great place for families. Super, large balcony, always in shade, we had every meal outside, great gas bbq provided. Beautiful swimming pool, well maintained grounds, safe and secure parking, fantastic amenities on hand, everything you need just out of the door. We took our bikes, easy flat access to local port and beaches, nice walks, lovely clean and not busy beaches even at the end of July and August. Highly recommended for families/couples wanting to explore this part of France with a lovely comfortable apartment to return to. Plenty around the area to do and explore, nice local markets as well. Many thanks for a lovely stay!!

Très bel appartement sur la marina des Capellans

A ne pas rater ... cette location bien équipée, tout confort, est idéalement située à ST CYPRIEN. Commerces très sympathiques au pied de l'immeuble, la plage est à 15 mn à pied, magnifique piscine dans la résidence très calme. Cette région proche de l'Espagne est à visiter (richesse du patrimoine) et permet la pratique de nombreuses activités sportives. Les propriétaires, tout comme Nathalie chargée de l'accueil, sont prévenants et très agréables ; tout est fait pour que les hôtes se sentent comme à la maison.

Special interest holidays:

Many water based sports are available, including Kite surfing, Scuba diving, surfing, sailboarding, water skiing. Tennis, squash and badminton courts at La Grande Stade Sports Stadium, just a short walk away. There is also a fitness centre. Les Jardins des Plantes Botanical Gardens offer a pleasant walk at any time of the year. Local attractions include Aqualand waterpark for children and adults, Sigean African Reserve, Golf, horseriding, cycling (bike hire available) and hiking. In the general area, a car journey will have you soaking up the history, art and culture of this interesting part of France.

The Tourism office, located in St Cyprien port, provides maps and extensive information on local attractions.


St Cyprien enjoys an average of 300 days of sunshine a year. 10 mins walk to St Cyprien blue flag beach. Over 12 km of beach stretch either side of the town, with numerous other beaches in the area to choose from, including St Cyprien Plage, Canet-en-Roussillon, Argeles-sur-Mer and continuing all along the coast towards Spain.


By car you have an 11 hour drive depending on port and route. Calais (approx 850km), Roscoff/Cherbourg (approx 1100km). The Spanish border is 30 mins drive. Great for returning home with some local produce! By Air, Ryanair flies from UK and Ireland to Perpignan (40 mins), Carcassonne (1hr20 mins), Beziers (1hr), Gerona (1hr20mins), Toulouse (2h 15 mins), Nimes (2hrs), Montpellier (2hrs), Barcelona (2hrs), Rodez (3hr20mins).

Once here: local (€1!) bus available, train at Argeles, cycle, or car.


Gerona is 1hr20 away, an ancient Spanish city with lovely shops and restaurants; Collioure 20 mins, a must - a charming port; Barcelona 1hr20; Carcassone 1hr20 - a visit to La Cite the ancient walled city is highly recommended; Andorra & The Pyrenees 2hrs+. Ceret 35 mins, home of Picasso, with its modern art museum, is well worth a visit. For those without a car there is also plenty to do /places to go. The local Euro bus will take you anywhere. Dali museum at Figueres is really interesting.

Your hair, beauty, entertainment and dining requirements are all catered for within 1 minute walk from the apt! There you will find a supermarket, fruit & veg shop, butcher, fish shop, bakery, newsagents, doctors surgery, bar and restaurants. Available also to sample are locally produced wines. Mona Delices cafe offers unlimited free WiFi web access with your coffee. There are daily markets in the local area, supplying fresh produce, gifts and many bargains! Lots of beautiful restaurants within 10 mins walking distance in the Port area of St. Cyprien. The village of St Cyprien and the old Port are just minutes away by car, a typical French village with great boulangeries for fresh baguettes, butchers, a post office and a church.
