Fantasea Apartment West Bay Maenporth Nr Falmouth, Cornwall - Quiet location with luxurious, privately owned apartments, we have a large balcony with sea views

Situated 3 miles from Falmouth, easy access onto the coastal footpath so you can walk to nearby beaches easily. A great beach is below the apartments , very safe for children and dogs, serviced with a beach cafe and excellent restaurant. Private parking, serviced by a lift if needed, huge balcony with table and chairs for outside dining or just enjoying the view! Sleeps 4 in comfort, well appointed apartment , spacious rooms and wood floors throughout . A modern kitchen with granite tops and two bar stools which tuck under a corner worktop for breakfast ! Our balcony has the best sea views in the building.

Located 1 minute by car, or 5 minutes by foot to the Beach ! Sea Views from Private Balcony Luxury Apartment, underfloor heating, the apartment is very spacious !

Special interest holidays:

The coastal footpath is on the doorstep , join the many walkers who regularly walk our section of the South West Coast Path.Every conceivable water sport is available within 5 miles of the property. Boats and kayaks are available for hire locally at Swanpool beach where they run daily activities for Children, very safely supervised. There are many fantastic restaurants in the area to suit every palate, we even have a Rick Stein's in Falmouth! National Trust Gardens and Houses are nearby and all over Cornwall too.

Riding Stables can be found nearby , we also have a muti screen cinema and an indoor, huge, public swimming pool at Falmouth. There,s a castle on the headland which is owned by National Heritage and is well worth a visit to also see our sister Castle across the water at St Mawes, reached by a 15 minute foot ferry from Falmouth.


Maenporth Beach is literally under one minute by car, or walk down hill on the footpath in 5 minutes. The other Falmouth beaches can be reached via the footpath in 30 minutes or 5 minutes by car. All have large car parks and excellent facilities. The main Beach of Gyllyngvase, is lifeguarded in the Summer and also has fabulous tropical Gardens which you can walk through or sit with a picnic.


Falmouth has a train station but you really need a car for this apartment.

Hire is available though which means you could get the train or the plane to Newquay airport which is 45 minutes drive away.


The village of Mawnan Smith is two miles by car and Falmouth Town is 3 miles by car.

To sight see, the Eden Project is 40 minutes by car, or visit our City of Truro for shopping and the beautiful ornate Cathedral which is 20 minutes drive. There are many open Gardens in the area which have incredible valley locations with tropical plants not seen anywhere else (Trebah Gardens Mawnan for the most spectacular) in the UK. Falmouth has an historic Castle at Pendennis Point which is worth a visit.

We have all the major supermarkets in the Falmouth vicinity, and all the major Banks in the Town. Food is a big deal in Falmouth, we have many restaurants to suit all palates and even a Rick Stein Fish and Chip Shop! The main street has many independant shops and lovely Deli's where you can purchase local products, Art galleries are popular too and you may be able to purchase a souvenir! If its wet you may want to visit our huge indoor public swimming pool and our multi screen cinema. There are also many Tourist attractions with the area for all ages so you,ll never be bored!

  • Notes on accommodation: Internet is supplied via mobile broadband, great for email and web browsing, not suitable for streaming TV or Videos. Fantasea Apartment is first floor and can be accessed by a short flight of steps or the lift. A designated parking space is provided and access is gained on the first day by taking keys from a key safe. There is a huge shared entrance lobby and a couple of bikes can be stored safely. There are gardens at the back which can be used by our guests. For dog walkers there are many public footpaths from the West Bay area and the beach is suitable for dogs in the winter season, but within a 2 minute drive we have secluded coves and beaches where dogs are allowed. Outside: To the rear is a terraced garden space which can be used by all residents. Exercising dogs is not permitted there but there are numerous dog walking areas nearby. The front is purely parking. We have a large balcony facing the sea with a table and chairs. Utility Room: The utility room has a sink and drainer, washing machine with dryer and spare hanging rails for drying small pieces or wet suits! This is a very useful room too if you bring a dog for feeding etc.Fully tiled floor . Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: One bath and hand towel per guest is supplied together with all bedding, bath mats and tea towels. The apartment is cleaned after every visit ready for the next guest to arrive to a pristine luxury apartment! Other: There is a dining table which seats 6 persons next to the kitchen and again enjoying the view from the apartment. Underfloor heating can be used in the Winter, or there,s an electric wall fire for the odd chilly evening.
