Chalet in St Foy Tarentaise, Savoie, Rhone-Alpes, France - Surrounded By Nature With Easy Access To Set Foy, Les Arcs, Val D'isere, Tignes And La Rosiere

Chalet Le Jorat is a traditional Savoyard farm building, which has been sympathetically restored to retain it’s character and charm, while still offering all modern comforts. It is a family home, lovingly decorated with quality furnishings, antiques and quirky finds from the local flea market. It has a large open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area. There are 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6-9, and 2 bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. The hamlet of Le Jorat is almost deserted and often you may be the only people staying there. It is situated half way between St Foy Tarentaise Village and the turning up to Ste Foy Ski Station, nestled amongst the trees and surrounded by nature but simultaneously with easy access to the resorts of St Foy, Les Arcs, Val d’Isere, Tignes and La Rosiere. In summer there are countless mountain activities just minutes away and some of our favourite winter restaurants open their swimming pools so that following a delicious lunch you can bask in the glory of the mountains, while enjoying a glorious day by the pool.

Why Tania Chisholm chose Val d'Isere - Tignes - Sainte Foy

We fell in love with this area for its diverse skiing that caters for all ability levels from children beginners to off piste touring with friendly local guides that have grown up in these mountains. With a host of different resorts to choose from within such a short distance variation is unlimited and in the summer white water rafting, mountain biking, hiking and climbing are all just minutes away.

We genuinely feel that we are in the hub of an amazing playground yet retain the privacy and atmosphere of a mountain hideaway.

Booking Notes:
Self-catering.
Dates shown as Sunday to Sunday as this is standard but 10 days can be available depending on pre-existing bookings. Shorter stays available off peak or if availability last minute. Alternative change over days may be possible depending on other booking so feel free to enquire.
30% deposit to confirm booking (refundable up to 4 weeks prior to arrival)
with balance and security deposit payable 6 weeks prior to arrival. Bookings made closer than 6 weeks prior paid in full. All reasonable offers considered.

Security deposit to cover unacceptable breakages or beyond standard cleaning.

Changeover Day:
Usually Sunday departures 10 am and arrival 4 pm. Enquiries for alternative arrival/departure can be considered depending on bookings.

Bookings made less than 6 weeks prior to arrival need to be paid in full with the addition of the security deposit on booking. Bookings made prior to 6 weeks ahead of arrival, can be secured with a 30% deposit, with the remainder and security deposit due 6 weeks prior to the booking commencement date.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
