About the Owner

Hi. We are a family of 4 (5 if we include the cat) and live in London. Our children are aged 14 (Louis) and 5 (Ellen). I was born in London and my wife was born in New York. Louis, Ellen and I are season ticket holders at the best football club in south east London (not saying which one though!). We all enjoy skiing and try and go at least once a year.

Beautiful property.

We found everything we could possibly need in cottage. Excellent facilities, and a really stunning bathroom. There is a local shop nearby, the seafront a very short walk away, everything within walking distance.

The owner Mark, sent us very detailed instructions on now everything worked, and was willing to answer any questions, so was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay there very much, and wouldn't hesitate to use it again.

A great place in a great location

Deal is a great little town by the sea with lots of nice pubs, independent shops, a few galleries, and great places to grab a coffee and something to eat. We stayed for a long weekend Friday to Monday (3 nights) in early September 2016. 20 Princes Street is in a great spot near the centre of all this activity. Princes Street is nevertheless quiet and we had no problem parking. We enjoyed staying at No.20 very much and, in particular, the spacious, up to date, and sunny bathroom, the main bedroom, again sunny, with large comfortable bed and large TV, and the sunny courtyard garden (we had a sunny weekend!) where we ate breakfast every day. Come the evening, the kitchen had all we needed with an immaculate cooker, leading on to an open plan dining area, comfortably seating up to 6, and then a large comfortable loung(ing) area with another large TV.

Communication with the owner has been immaculate.

Great little Cottage

Well equipped cottage all you need for your stay. Close enough to walk to Deal town centre and use a Base to visit other areas of Kent. Well worth a visit and stay

Excellent value

The cottage was extremely well equipped and very comfortable. We particularly liked the kitchen and new luxurious bathroom. It was great to be only a few minutes walk away from the sea and High street. You can park overnight outside the cottage if you are careful about timing and park after 5.30. This is a good location to visit the castles on this coastline. We went to Deal, Walmer and Dover castles as well as the Roman ruins of Richborough. We had good meals at The Bohemian pub near the pier and the Zetland Arms on the beach at Kingsdown. The Deal Hoy pub had a great atmosphere and we went to the Alma for open mike night which is held alternate Thursdays. The cafe at the end of the pier is very good as well.
