About Corinne rose

Hi I'm Corinne Rose. I live in Derbyshire with my husband, Lance and baby girl Billie. We are proud owners/workers of Clydesdale and Shire horses.

You are very likely to see the horses roaming the estate if you were to come and stay with us. If you want to have a carriage drive on our shire horse and carriage please ask at an extra charge.

Why Corinne rose chose Wirksworth

We live in a beautiful part of Derbyshire within 12 acres of land. It was always our plan to build a log cabin in the grounds. The cabin stands on its own across the fields and the views are breathtaking, great from the hot tub just located outside the cabin. It really is a getaway from all the crowds, surrounded by fields and heavy horses but not more than 5 minutes from shops if you need them.

What makes this cabin unique

At Arraslea Cabins you are not staying at your usual property, its views are fantastic. One side its across the amber valley to Crich and from the other, heavy horses and landscape. A real countryside retreat.

5 minutes away from our local country public house. 5 minutes from local villages and convenience stores.

Step out the drive and you have walks all around you, exploring the local area.

You could just relax in our luxury cabin or explore, as we have many beautiful attractions nearby which include Chatsworth, Crich Tramway Museum, Matlock Bath, Cromford Canal, just to name a few.

Stay within the world heritage sight and enjoy a beautiful part of Derbyshire.

Beautiful location, lovely, cosy cabin

  • 5 of 5

Me and my partner came here for a long weekend early Nov 2017. On arrival we was greeted with a hamper of chocolate, wine, bread, butter and jam (lovely touch) the cabin itself is very spacious there's 2 bedroom each with ensuit. The hot tub was great although I would say not very well lit as it gets dark really early that time of year however wasn't a problem. The beds were very comfy. Can't really complain about anything we had a lovely stay and will Defo be returning in the future.

Wonderful Log Cabin

  • 5 of 5

My husband, our 2 children & I stayed here for a week with our dog for our honeymoon. It's a beautifully presented log cabin which was very clean & had a welcoming, cosy feel. The cabin is private & not over looked but still a short drive to all local shops & villages. We loved waking up to the horses & our children enjoyed running along side them. There was often rabbits hopping around the paddocks too! The hot tub was ready to go when we arrived & was a great bonus, lit up by fairy lights in the evenings. The cabin itself had everything we needed & we were given a bottle of wine, chocolates, bread, butter, jam & milk on arrival. There are some fabulous walks near by great for the dog.

Thank you for having us! 🙂?
