The Stable has been renovated sympathetically and looks much as it used to from the outside. Inside it has been finished and furnished to a high standard. It is detached and private and has its own cottage garden. It has an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen with French doors onto a old stone patio. There is a bathroom and shower room downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. It is level entry for ease of access.
The property is furnished, fitted and decorated to a high standard. It is well insulated so warm and cosy. The private, enclosed cottage garden allows views over paddocks and open fields.
My name is Jerry Scott and my wife Chris and I have been running The Stable cottage for 16 years. Our personalities are open and friendly and many guests return regularly and become friends.
Jerry Scott purchased this cottage in 1999
The Stable is in the grounds of our house and was originally a one and a half storey shelter for livestock and horses. It took two years to renovate the building including raising the roof height to get the headroom upstairs. The conservation village is very convenient for Lincoln, particularly the uphill cathedral area and guests love the peace and quiet and great location.
As mentioned above the cottage is located on the best side of Lincoln for easy access and is close to main roads for exploring other areas.
The property is detached and has its own enclosed cottage garden.
It is a smallish cottage but will take 4 people comfortably. It is furnished and decorated to a high standard.
My wife and I are on hand to personally supervise and attend immediately to any problems or queries.
