This ground floor 2 bedroom apartment with extended balcony is located at Costa de Prata, which is one of Sao Martinho's most popular apartment complexes. This large spacious, elegant apartment sleeps 4- 6, and is located just 5mins walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. Being on the ground floor there is easy access to the large communal swimming pool, which is surrounded by a manicured garden, with plenty of sun-beds. The apartment is spacious and tastefully furnished with a large, comfortable lounge which leads out to a large balcony equipped with a built in barbeque and outdoor dining area.

Why Paul chose Alcobaca

It is a very central location, close to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars, yet still quiet. Sao Martinho has so much to offer.It has a beautiful shell shaped bay and a long sandy beach. The food is so fresh and seafood is caught locally and served fresh in restaurants. The Portuguese people are lovely - very friendly, polite and helpful.

The bay is perfect for both relaxing and water sports. Sao Martinho is unspoilt with safe waters, thus attracting many Portuguese holiday makers.

What makes this apartment unique

Our apartment is ideal because it is so close to the beach, restaurants, bars etc. Costa Da Prata is a very popular holiday complex due to its location and friendly atmosphere.

We bought our apartment a few years ago and both think it is a great place to stay.

The apartments are bright and spacious and there is a communal pool, where families gather around. The beach is very close by. It has calm, shallow waters and is safe for swimming. This is due to the bays shell shape. Sao Martinho is Portugal best kept secret.

Further Details:

Sao Martinho is Portugals best kept secret with it's sheltered, shell shaped bay and white sand. The sea in the bay is warm and gentle, which makes it a great favourite for families. There is a board walk, running through the sand dunes,which will take you to Salir do Porto on the south side of the bay. For the more energetic, within a short distance there are facilities for golfing, fishing, surfing etc. (Nazare is 10 km away and is where the world record of riding a wave on a surf board (30m) is held!). There are many other places on this coast for the not so adventurous surfer. There are many World Heritage sites within 50 km. Obidos, the medieval walled city is only 15 km. So much to see and do or just relax on the beach and let the world go by.

Other: A patio door leads from the lounge to the ground floor balcony, which has a built in barbecue and table and chairs to relax, with excellent views to the swimming pool.

Lovely apartment, modern with plenty of space, good sized lounge / dining room, well equipped kitchen, two large bedrooms brilliant for family holidays - pool nice and handy
