There is a very convenient bus service from Malaga airport to the doorstep (change at Marbella). The apartment is just a few minutes walk from the charming old town of San Pedro with its tree fringed promenade and safe sandy beach. You are spoilt for choice with beach bars and restaurants vying with the narrow cobbled streets and their cafes, shops and intimate bistros. Thursday is San Pedros market day - fabulous bargains not to be missed. Plenty of retail therapy is close at hand in the fashionable avenues of Puerto Banus and also in nearby Marbella. The stunning marina in Puerto Banus is surrounded by an array of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. A trip to Gibraltar and onwards to North Africa or a visit to Rhonda with the oldest bull ring in Spain are highly recommended and accessible day trips.
