Saltwater is a fabulous new apartment created from the old Saltwater Restaurant, a favourite of many visitors to St Ives.

A spacious ground floor 2 bedroomed apartment, seconds away from beautiful sandy beaches and the quaint harbour of St Ives.

Saltwater has an extremely well equipped kitchen as you can imagine.

The lounge is bright and colourful with original art and an eclectic mix of furniture. Lots of games and dvd's for those not so sunny days.

I have loved living in my new apartment but have recently moved to Leicestershire to be near to my mother and grandchildren.

Why Karen Cadoo chose St Ives area

Having loved St Ives for many years I was lucky enough to come and live here in 1998. I opened Saltwater Restaurant in 2000 which I ran successfully for 11 years, and have had the pleasure of turning it into a fabulous apartment.

Although centrally located it is just far enough away from the harbour for it not to be noisy!

What makes this apartment unique

Saltwater is just up from the Harbour, very easy to unload on your way to your reserved secure car park space in Bedford Road.

Just a few steps away from Porthmeor and Porthgwidden beaches, really convenient for those evening BBQ's watching the sunset over the sea.

There are great restaurants and bars just a short stroll away.

There is a BBQ, belly board, crab lines and shrimp nets and a beach umbrella and chair for your use.

Outside: To the front of the property there is a seat to enjoy your morning coffee in the sun! Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. Cleaning takes place on day of arrival. Fresh towels and linen will be supplied on stays longer than 1 week. Beach towels not included. Other: The porch area has a belly board, crab lines, beach umbrella, shrimp nets and a BBQ for you to take to the beach and watch those wonderful sunsets on Porthmeor Beach.

Perfect location...beautiful accomodation.

What a superb holiday home, in fact the best we've stayed in. Fantastic location - just a couple of minutes walk from 3 beaches, Tate Gallery and fabulous restaurants. Excellently equipped kitchen (with sharp knives!), THE most comfortable beds and hot powerful showers. There's even body boards, wet suits & crab lines for the kids.

We had the most relaxing stay, it was a home from home. We will most definitely be back again, thank you.

Amazing accommodation, everything you could possibly need for a wonderful holiday. Even the welcome gift in the fridge was a welcome surprise. We will definitely be back next year.

Notes on prices:
Short breaks may be available out of season. £150 per night at weekends, £120 per night week days - minimum stay of three nights. Please enquire by email.

A non- refundable deposit of £100 is required at time of booking.
If parking is required there is a refundable deposit of £100 for the electronic gate fob.
Full payment is required 4 weeks before booking commences.
