Standing in its own grounds in a stunning rural area with views over the historic ruins of Egglestone Abbey yet within both walking and driving distance of nearby Barnard Castle as well as other areas of interest. Plenty of activities within easy distance along with places to eat to suit all appetites! Central heating, TV, WiFi, telephone. Garden furniture/BBQ, duvets and linen provided. Ground floor twin bedroom (ramp available by arrangement) and useful large utility room!

Set in a rural hamlet tucked away at the end of a short drive, with panoramic views over the surrounding area this delightful cottage is ideal for a relaxing base from which to enjoy your stay whilst taking in your choice from all the variety of interests and activities available within the area.

The cottage forms part of the Rokeby Estate and is the smaller of two properties available for holiday lets. Converted and upgraded to provide a warm and welcoming base for your holiday - whether you just want to relax and do little or take in as much activity as possible - The Old Cottage will be ideal!

The Moors, Dales and Lakes are all within easy travelling distance too.

Plenty of outside space for al fresco dining with garden furniture and barbecue provided. Ample parking space. Utility Room: Butler's sink, automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing equipment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bed linen - duvets - and towels are supplied and changed weekly. Extra towels and extra linen are available upon request if required. Other: Rear lobby/store off the utility room.
