ETC 3 Star Apartment. Situated in the main property, a popular 2 floor apartment, offering an attractive holiday home for a family of four, with access from entrance hall onto the staircase landing. The twin room has views over the River Rothay and the Fairfield mountain range beyond.

Bedroom 2 with twin beds (3ft & 2ft 6 beds).


1 shower room with shower enclosure, toilet and basin. Welcome toiletries are provided.

Our comfortable apartments enjoy a quiet position in our well timbered grounds in the centre of Grasmere village – a nice arrangement and convenient for everything the lake district has to offer. Beck Allans has private parking and the comforts of home. Surrounded by mountains, it is ideally suited for all activities or a tranquil stay. We are next to the river rothay and a few steps from St Oswalds churchyard where the Wordsworth family is buried. Our apartments offer you home comforts so you can relax and enjoy - all you need is food and clothes

Cozy and comfortable, well equipped

Scafell apartment is well located in the middle of Grasmere village which has a number of tourist shops and eating establishments mainly attached to hotels so menu prices are a little high. The apartment is cozy with log fire/stove. The well equipped kitchen is separate from main living room. The bedroom, toilet/shower room are also separate and located up stairs, the bed is very comfortable and shower is electric so plenty of hot water. It should be noted that there are a number of stairs in the apartment which are quite steep and are not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Good location

Scafell was very clean and comfortable with the bonus of a dedicated parking space. Good location in the heart of the village with many walks from the door and also very close to main bus route through the Lakes. It felt more like a cottage than an apartment as it is on 2 floors. Bedrooms were compact but had sufficient storage space and the layout of the twin room was made clear before booking. We appreciated the excellent kitchen which has recently been refurbished and contained everything we needed.
