About Liz and Steve Smith

Having spent many years holidaying in the area with our 2 children we have recently purchased No 2 Polrunny Cottages - Big Pol and Little Pol. Our intention is for families or individuals to enjoy this spectacular part of the Cornish Countryside as much as we do.

Liz and Steve Smith purchased this barn in 2014

Why Liz and Steve Smith chose Forrabury and Minster

Both the properties are located in a very quiet, peaceful rural position with outstanding views over countryside towards the sea. They are positioned up out of the village and have plenty of car parking space.

Comfy and relaxing stay

  • 5 of 5

Little Poll is a gem of a house and is so well equipped for a comfy and relaxing stay. We loved the huge bed and the well appointed kitchen and living room. The "welcome" goodies were such a nice surprise and delicious too! That bread is so good and lasted all week. The cottage is in a really great location for exploring the north of Cornwall and we travelled widely- there is simply so much to see. We would highly recommend this property

  • 5 of 5

Ideal location for what we wanted to do. Lovely little cottage had everything we needed was warm and cozy.

Got caught in "the beast from the east " snow storm, owners very understanding but we did manage to get out all be it a little late.

Would recommend and would be happy to return Winter or Summer

Lovely Little Pol

  • 5 of 5

Fantastic little cottage with everything provided for a very comfortable stay. The welcome pack was so thoughtful and unexpected, even biscuits for the dogs were provided and we only stayed for 3 nights. Great location tucked away at the top of Boscastle but only walk down (and back up) if you have stamina as it's a long old hill! Would definitely recommend to others. Thank you Liz and Steve.
