APARTMENT 6 on the second floor, with balcony and stunning sea views is divided into two self contained sections on either side of the landing area. The front section with balcony overlooking the bay, comprises lounge/diner with 2 3 seater leather sofa's; TV /DVD and CD. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher; washer/dryer; fridge freezer; cooker and microwave, plus all the utensils you could wish for and a double bedroom with en-suite.

The other section consists of one double bedroom and a twin single bedroom and family bathroom.

Thoroughly cleaned by ourselves. We have a no smoking policy.

Fabulous accommodation with amazing views

Our stay in Apartment 6 on the second floor of this complex was really comfortable. Martin made us feel very welcome. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfy bed, good shower, dishwasher, dvd and everything you'd need. The best thing was the amazing view from the peaceful balcony...panoramic sea and coastal views helped by the lovely weather. The second half of the apartment is down the hallway and so slightly separate from the main part. This suited our teenage children really well as they appreciated their space and privacy. Their apartment was also equipped with a good shower and there was also a washing machine in there. There was outside hanging space for wet things and a lovely shared garden to sit and eat in. The private lane to the beach was so handy...just a 5 minute walk. All in all a lovely base for our holiday.

Wonderful sea view apartment in Harlyn Bay

This was our first time renting a holiday apartment and we absolutely loved it, clean, comfortable and great for relaxing after a full day of walking along the beautiful coastal paths nearby. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Yellow Sands, and thanks to Martin and Debbie who were super helpful right from the point of our first enquiries through to our check out. A great place to stay. Hope to visit again.

Ideal location

Very impressed with the property immediately upon arrival- all looked obviously well maintained and clean, as could be seen by the owners still cleaning when we arrived a tad early.

The rooms were well equipped and comfortable as well as in good condition and clean.

The location is superb- within a short walk of the beach and of the Harlyn Inn, which is a lot better than it's outside appearance suggests- great food (much better than any pubs in Shrewsbury) and a nice range of beers.

The apartments were also easy to find using the Sat-Nav.

We all enjoyed our stay and found it to be a perfect base for exploring Cornwall. At night it was too easy just to walk to the pub to get a meal (or breakfast in the mornings), so we ended up having a perfect holiday without needing to cook anything!

Would definitely stay again!

Special interest holidays:

Within the locality there are a wide variety of pastimes including sea fishing trips; pleasure cruises along the coast and around the small islands as well as speed boat trips.

The estuary is a haven for sailing; windsurfing and water-skiing. For walkers or cyclist there is the camel trail and coastal path, the golfer is also catered for with two championship courses, one within a mile of Yellow Sands. In Addition you will find pony trekking, theme parks, tennis, swimming pools, go-carts and even parachute jumps available. All area’s of Cornwall can be reached within an hour for daytrips and sightseeing.

200 meters via a private footpath approx. 5 minutes walk so no parking worries.

Nearest Village (St Merryn) 1.5km with shops post office, pubs, restaurants etc

There is also a wide variety of pastimes near by, the harbour at Padstow offers sea-fishing trips; cruises along the coast and speedboat rides. The estuary is ideal for water sports and the Camel Trail wends its way along the old railway route to Wadebridge and onto Bodmin for scenic cycle ride and walks.… Other local leisure pursuits include Horse Riding; Go Karting; Tennis; Bowls; Harlyn Surf school and for Golf enthusiasts there are championship links courses close by at Trevose and St Enodoc and across the estuary at Rock.

There are 6 other sandy beaches all within 15minutes drive.
