Looking for a great value luxury modern clean self catering holiday less than 5 minutes walk to a beautiful clean beach with lots of amenities for all ages then look no further YOU HAVE FOUND YOUR PERFECT HOLIDAY on the beautiful Norfolk coast! There are now FIVE chalets available, all modernised, furnished and equipped to a high standard with several 5* Trip Advisor ratings. Two chalets accept one small well behaved dog and the other three are pet free. All chalets benefit from free on site parking close to each chalet. They are all within a short walk of each other so for a larger family group several chalets could be rented together. Discounted Club Oasis pass available direct from me for daily live evening entertainment, bar, restaurant and free Wi-Fi and discounted swimming pass also available. Located on family orientated holiday villages which share amenities just 5 miles from the popular resort of Great Yarmouth on the Norfolk coast with frequent public transport links within a short walk.

69 California Sands (sleeps 5 plus baby)

Completely refurbished in 2014 and redecorated for 2016 this is one of my luxury pet free chalets. It has the benefit of a fully fitted and equipped kitchen with a washing machine. It has a modern bathroom with an electric shower over the bath. There are two bedrooms (one double and one triple bunk bedroom with space for a cot). A spacious open plan sitting/dining area with a feature electric fire, digital TV, comfortable seating area and dining table. The enclosed porch opens up to south facing communal grassed area. (Saturday changeover.)

67 Sunbeach (sleeps 4 plus baby or young child)

Completely refurbished for 2016 this is one of my luxury pet free chalets. It has the benefit of a fully fitted and equipped kitchen with a washing machine. 4 California Sands (sleeps 4)

Refurbished for the 2016 season this south facing chalet has the benefit of a fully fitted and equipped kitchen including a washing machine. It has a modern bathroom with a shower cubicle but is my other chalet without a bath. There are two bedrooms (one double and one bunk bedroom with the added benefit of a TV and DVD player for the children and space for a ready bed or cot). A spacious open plan sitting/dining area with a feature electric fire, digital TV and DVD player, comfortable seating area and dining table. The enclosed porch opens up to south facing communal grassed area. (Saturday changeover.)

All chalets benefit from electric heating (please note electricity is via a £1 coin meter as per all chalets on site). Wi-Fi is available in the club house only (additional charges may apply) and not in the chalet.

Lovely space, well laid out and good size bedrooms.

We had a lovely time in the chalets in California with our 14 month old. The bedrooms were good sizes and the doors onto the grass outside were a big hit so our little boy could go in and out easily. Excellent proximity to the beach and lots of other attractions, we would particularly recommend Thrigby Hall Wildlife Park. Great facilities in the chalet and was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Gail the owner was very accommodating and kept in touch during our stay to make sure we were happy with everything and it was great that she readied the chalet for us a couple of hours early so we could get ready before going to a wedding. Thanks very much Gail.

Excellent clean accomodation

Very clean and modern property, lots of little extra touches made it even better, tea towel and washing up liquid provided, hand wash and a small amount if tea making supplies. All bed linen provided, beds were also very comfy. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

As advertised Wi-Fi is available in the on site club house at a small additional cost which also provides daily evening entertainment, a bar and restaurant. It is also available for free at the pub by the beach which is just a five minute walk from the chalet.

A great short break by the sea

The property was clean and well equipped and perfect for our short break. The chalet site was tidy but basic. If staying for longer the children would have struggled without wifi and a DVD player. The proximity to the beach was great and again perfect for the purpose of our trip - relaxation and dog walking.

A bit more info in the chalet about things to do in the area would be useful.

Overall we had a lovely stay. Would recommend seal viewing and the fresh fish shop nearby 'dabs and crabs' for example.

Owner's Response: I'm pleased that you found the property "clean, perfect for your short stay, well equipped" and that the 5 minute walk to the beach made it "perfect for the purpose of your trip - relaxation" and that you had a "lovely stay". As part of the welcome pack I leave a 50 page "What's On" guide which is produced by the Tourist Information Office and if asked I'm always happy to provide my guests with information on places to visit and things to do in the area as the choice is endless. As advertised Wi-Fi is available in the club house and is also available in the pub by the beach which serves delicious homemade food. Depending on your network there is a good 3G/4G signal in my chalets and I am also currently looking at installing "mobile Wi-Fi" in my chalets which is currently the only option without a phone line. DVD players are available at 4 California Sands which also has a TV and DVD player in the second bedroom, all my other chalets have a large digital TV in the sitting room. Kind regards Gail

I purchased the chalets in Norfolk due to the beautiful unspoilt beach, lots of things to do within a short distance without the need for a car, being on the doorstep of Great Yarmouth which is a premier UK seaside resort and the fabulous unspoilt Norfolk Boards. They are located on a family orientated holiday park.

Coast/Beach:

Within 5 minutes walk to a beautiful quiet unspoilt sandy beach. Dogs allowed on beach all year round (on lead on some sections).

Further Details:

On site there is plenty to keep the whole family amused including the Oasis Family Club and entertainment centre which has free WiFi (please ask me about details for a discounted pass), live entertainment and incorporates Big Fellas Restaurant (with some kids eat free offers), there is a family pub with a small children's play area, Sky Sports, quizzes and comedy during high season, amusement arcade with bowling, family diner, convenience store, indoor swimming pool (mid May to early September), fish and chip shop. Off site within a short walk there is a traditional pub serving delicious home-made food with regular live music events and children's outdoor play area, amusement arcade, convenience store, bus stop, taxi and local tour company pick up point.

If you wish to venture a little further Great Yarmouth has much to offer including The Pleasure Beach, Sealife Centre, Hippodrome indoor circus, golden mile promenade, cinema, leisure centre, roller skating, dog and horse racing, casino together with countless family attractions and many shows throughout the season.

Just a few miles South are the beautiful Norfolk broads, a unique maze of inland waterways classified as a national park. There are many boat trips available or boats can be privately hired by the hour/day.

The city of Norwich is just 20 miles west, known as one of the best places to shop in England together with many historical places of interest including the castle, cathedral and daily market, it makes an excellent day out.

Refundable Damage Deposit £50

Booking Notes:

A non refundable £50 deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance plus a returnable damage deposit of £50 is due 35 days before your arrival. Payment can be made via the Owners Direct website (payment by credit card will incur a 1.4% fee) or preferably direct to me via Paypal, bank transfer, cheque or postal order.

One small dog is charged at £25 at 71 and 82 Sunbeach. Linen is included and beds will be freshly made up for your arrival but please bring your own towels. Chalets (excluding 4 California Sands) have the benefit of a washing machine in the kitchen. Cots and high chairs available by request at £5 each per week.

Changeover Day:
Weekly breaks change over days are Fridays or Mondays at 67, 71 and 82 Sunbeach. Saturday is the changeover day for 4 and 69 California Sands.

Short breaks are available for 3 nights from Fridays or 4 nights from Mondays. Longer breaks and other change over days are also available by request.

Notes on prices:

Please note prices at my pet free chalet at 69 California Sands which sleeps upto 5 adults and 1 baby with a Saturday changeover are £25 per week more that the automatically prices generated on the Owners Direct website so if you are looking to book that chalet please do contact me first.

Club Oasis discount pass available from me direct providing evening entertainment, restaurant and FREE WIFI (weekly £25, short breaks £3.75 per night of stay per chalet), please note this excludes the swimming pool which is payable locally (discounted family passes are available for weekly stays).

All chalets have been recently modernised to a superior standard with new fitted kitchens which include a washing machine and are well equipped for your self catering requirements. 4 and 69 California Sands plus 67 Sunbeach are pet free, whereas 71 and 82 Sunbeach welcome one small well behaved small dog (small additional charge applies). All beds will be made up on your arrival with freshly ironed linen and I provide a small tea/coffee welcome pack together with other useful essentials like washing up liquid, a tea towel, salt/pepper, hand soap and cleaning products. All you have to do when you arrive is unpack and then relax! Takeaways can be delivered direct to the chalet (as can Tesco groceries) and there are several restaurants and the local pub within walking distance.
