Bohenie Lodges are purpose-built accommodation for self-catering holidays and are fully equipped to offer a comfortable and relaxing Scottish vacation. The lodges are constructed entirely from timber in the style of a log cabin or mountain chalet but with the benefit of the high levels of insulation and double glazing found in modern homes. Electric heating ensures that even in winter your stay will be comfortable! The location of our two log cabins offers tranquil woodland on the edge of open moorland and right from the doorstep visitors can enjoy easy walking on a gentle hill track with magnificent views of the mountains of the Grey Corries and Nevis Range. The accommodation is ideally placed for people looking for a quiet holiday without being too far from Fort William and its attractions. We welcome walkers, cyclists and outdoor lovers in general. Well-behaved pets can be accommodated by prior arrangement.

Log cabin was situated off the beaten track. Just what the doctor ordered! Fabulous location in a lovely log cabin that was set up to live in, not just holiday. Sheila is a wonderful and approachable owner and if you have any problems, she will always do her best to help. Would recommend this log cabin to anyone wishing to get off the beaten track. Great for exploring, Fort William, Fort Augustus (Loch Ness) and Ben Nevis.

Home from home and can't wait to go back. Did not want to leave!!!

Great Lodge in a Lovely Secluded Area.

Me and my wife stayed at this log cabin for a week.

Can't fault anything,great location,very clean and tidy with nice fresh new linen and towels. Brilliant sauna.

Lodge was well equipped with everything needed for a great comfortable stay.

If you have kids even better they have board games,jigsaws,outdoor games,kids DVDs etc.

Satellite Tv,WiFi,radio.

Would definitely come back again.

Very welcoming couple who run it.

Superb Lodge

This lodge is in the middle of a wooded area and is truly a secret wee hideaway. It is a lovely cosy lodge and it has every appliance and utensil one can imagine! The appliances and utensils are all first class quality. Comfy beds and good quality linen all provided too. Lovely walks on the doorstep and complete privacy and peacefulness - a joy! Lots of lovely locations just a short drive away! My husband, our dog Poppy and I really loved this wee treasure! Very reasonably priced indeed! Thank so much!

Our two lodges are purpose built for warm comfortable holiday accommodation in all four seasons. The lodges are sited in secluded woodland on the edge of open countryside perfect for lovers of the outdoors and their pets. The location is ideal for both a quiet relaxing holiday or as a base to explore as the lodges are situated midway between Fort William and Aviemore, the two premier destinations in the Scottish highlands for outdoor activities!

Booking Notes:
Bookings can be made direct with the owner via telephone or email. A deposit of £100 is due at the time of booking and the remaining balance is due 4 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. Payment can be sent via cheque in the post or via online payments through our ebay page
All bedding, linen and towels are supplied clean for each rental / each week. Electricity meter is read by guests on arrival and departure and quantity used during stay is payable on departure.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday from March to October. From November to February changeover day is flexible and 3 or 4 day short breaks are available. Christmas and New Year full weeks only. Arrive after 4pm. Depart before 10am.

  • Notes on accommodation: Peaceful rural location 30 minutes drive from Fort William. Rail and bus services within 2 miles. Just two widely spaced cabins on large private woodland / river bank site. Parking for several cars. One or two well-behaved pets welcome. Walkers, cyclists, nature lovers welcome! All bedding, linen and towels are supplied. Electricity meter is read by guests on arrival and departure and quantity used during stay is payable on departure. Outside: Each cabin has private car parking, outdoor seating, drying green with clothes lines. The grounds are wild and unfenced with a mix of tussock grass, heather, oak and birch trees. Lots of wildlife nearby. A rough path leads down to the river bank and a stony track leads uphill to wild open moorland. There is virtually no traffic apart from the occasional farm vehicle.
