About the property

Bohenie Lodges are purpose-built accommodation for self-catering holidays and are fully equipped to offer a comfortable and relaxing Scottish vacation. The lodges are constructed entirely from timber in the style of a log cabin or mountain chalet but with the benefit of the high levels of insulation and double glazing found in modern homes. Electric heating ensures that even in winter your stay will be comfortable! The location of our two log cabins offers tranquil woodland on the edge of open moorland and right from the doorstep visitors can enjoy easy walking on a gentle hill track with magnificent views of the mountains of the Grey Corries and Nevis Range. The accommodation is ideally placed for people looking for a quiet holiday without being too far from Fort William and its attractions. We welcome walkers, cyclists and outdoor lovers in general. Well-behaved pets can be accommodated by prior arrangement.

Great place to stay if you want quiet

  • 5 of 5

Well built Norwegian timber house. All round good egg and comfortable. Well furnished and well set up. Nice owners and very remote, accessible by a potholed road, but can be overcome with very slow driving. GW

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind comments, leaving the Lodge so clean and tidy, and for our friendly conversations. With regard to the comments of the potholes - unfortunately we have no control over the last 200 metres where the potholes are, as they are used by other people but we appreciate what you are saying. We have never had a complaint with regard to the road in the past, however, we do realize that the last 200 metres is not ideally suited for very expensive low slung sports cars. Hope you and the family will make a return visit in the future. All the Very Best, Sheila & Ronnie

Absolutely perfect place to get away from it all!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed here for the week during February. I have to say it was just what I needed- a week away from the rush of life. This cabin is ina secluded area with deer roaming just along the track. The cabin is cosy and has everything you need. Sheila was very helpful. We had some incredible days travelling around the area and two great days of skiing at The Nevis Range, 25 minutes away.

We will definitely be staying again! Thank you Sheila!

Cozy & Quiet

  • 5 of 5

Lovey few days with the family, got snowed in which was an adventure! Sheila and hubby were fantastic hosts, helping us get in and out, phoning the council to grit the road and helping us pack up to depart. If you are looking for a secluded retreat for a cozy walking holiday this is for you! Attic bedroom with balcony was a real treat, well equipped kitchen, warm even in -5. We will be back in the summer! Thanks Sheila!

Beautifully secluded

  • 4 of 5

My family and i stayed at the Pine cottage for a week in October.

It was just what we were looking for: a tranquil spot, where we can let our dog out, not to far from lots of adventure.

The cottage itself was rustic, but comfortable. The veranda was a lovely touch. Shame we didn't have the weather to enjoy it.

Minor issues with the position of the TV. We found that we could't see the screen due the the height it was.

Overall, lovely.
