Ronnie and Sheila have done everything to make your stay comfortable and easy. A wonderful lodge, secluded location and dark starlit night skies make it the perfect getaway. If you need the outside world, there is broadband.
We have been going to the lodge for 3 years and love everything about it.
We are allowed to take our dogs, which is fantastic. The walks and views are amazing, the owners are always extremely welcoming and after an eleven hour journey a pot of tea in a china cup with shortbread biscuits is just what the doctor ordered.
Clean beds, fresh crisp towels just perfect.
This place makes a perfect base to travel Scotland, dog walks are amazing, people are also amazing.
I have and will continue to recommend the lodges to everyone.
5 star all the way
An absolutely lovely trip, a great lodge in an amazing location. Incredible views of Ben Nevis and surrounding hills/mountains and the best stargazing we've experienced.
Sheila and Ronnie were very hospitable and friendly on arrival, the lodge was comfortable and cosy even though it was -6C outside!
The lodge was clean and tidy, the fresh flowers and milk were a lovely touch. Furnishings are exactly as the pictures show, nice pine interior and comfortable furniture. Kitchen well stocked in terms of appliances. Lots of lovely walks straight of the door.
Already planning our next trip back!
Went to this lodge on the basis it was claiming to be 4 star, it's not even 1!
Stunning location and would have been nice 30 years ago, unfortunately nothing has changed since then.
Our sheets had brown and yellow stains on them, the whole place was sticky, everything was worn, kitchen smelled fishy and was from the eighties, dirty microwave and cracked, this was at a glance I dread to think what would be apparent after a week if you could deal with it.
As soon as we arrived we called the owner, we had already paid, fortunately money was returned promptly and was a nice old lady in fairness but just didn't see the issues with the lodge.
Luckily we phoned another estate as we were leaving that we had been to before that's stunning and they had a cottage so holiday wasn't ruined.
It's claiming to be four star ish on the website but it's not even one, do yourself and your holiday a favour and avoid until it's had £20k thrown at it and brought into 2015.
