Villa near Coin, Costa del Sol (Inland), Spain - Stunning Location. We also have a 4 bedroom villa on same urb. ref 8167189

Stunning Villa set in an idyllic location. Sleeps up to 12 plus 2 infants with 5 bedrooms set over 3 levels. It has a guest apartment on ground floor with large double bedroom, en-suite, and own kitchen/dining and lounge. It offers spacious living and has all the mod cons including large smart TVs & Sky plus multi-room(full package including sport & movies) , DVD players, wifi, Nintendo Wii console. Own Private Pool, outside WC, Table tennis & Pool Table. Plenty to keep everyone of all ages happy. Child Friendly - new stair gates have been fitted to the stairs on the main level, (which can be removed when not required) also highchair and travel cots available on request along with a stair gate for a bedroom door. There is also a gate leading to the pool with a spring bolt.

My husband and I fell in love with Costa Del Sol 10 years ago. We now have 3 children and find that renting a villa provides us with the perfect family holiday. After renting for so many years decided that it would be ideal to own our own villa and aim to provide everything that we ourselves would be looking for.

We enjoy being slightly inland away from the hustle and bustle of the coast and love the mountain views. The shops, restaurants and bars are only 5 mins away and being more traditional that the coastal towns offer much better value for money. The beach at Fuengirola is only a 20 minute drive and La Cala beach is 15 mins.

It has 3 golf courses within a 15 minute drive.

What makes this villa unique

With the large private pool and other amenities including table tennis, pool table and full sky to name but a few you don't actually have to leave the villa if you don't want to. There is enough to entertain young and old alike. For those wanting to experience what Spain has to offer the villa is in an excellent location to explore.

Notes on accommodation: Casa de la Risa was our first villa and was a new rental for 2014, we have just purchased a new 4 bedroom villa- Casa del Amor (sleeps 10 plus 2 infants) on the same urbanisation so have the facilities to hold up to 22 plus 4 infants within a 5 minute walk. So if you are looking at multiple family bookings please get in touch or if no availability for your dates please check out property ref S29418. Upon arrival you will be met at the villa by Steve who will handover the keys and show you about. He is fountain of local knowledge and always happy to be of assistance. We aim to ensure that you have everything you require during your stay. We suggest you book your car as soon as you reserve the villa as rental prices in Spain can be very expensive if you leave it until just before you travel - they seem to be much more reasonable if you book well in advance and most companies only take a deposit. We can recommend car hire companies we use. Please note this is a non smoking villa. Outside: The main features outside are the large 10 x 4 private swimming pool with steps for walking in at the shallow end and ladder steps at the deep. There are plenty sun loungers at the poolside. There is a covered BBQ area with clay oven. The pool table is also under cover. Both areas and the pool have outside lights. There is also a music system in the BBQ area. There is an outdoor table tennis table. There is a large shaded terrace for eating outdoors. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and Linen along with swimming towels are provided. The villa will be cleaned before and after your stay.

Had a lovely time staying at the villa .. Had everything you possibly think of.

Amazing pool ..huge space really great villa . No one got in each other way.

Steve was fantastic on hand with knowledge and help!

Had a fab time!. Villa was brill had everything you could want and more so. The pool was a litte chilly for me but it was end of September, kids didn't care they had a fabulous time. Hopefully we will return next year perhaps to the try out the smaller villa they own. Thanks from all the Billam's

What a stunning villa!!!!!

Well what can I say.... a stunning villa!!

We had such a lovely time!!

Not only is the villa beautiful, large and very accommodating it's also excellently equipped and there's lots of bit and bobs for children to do/play with to. The outside area is brilliant - what an amazing pool! Our little ones absolutely loved all of the blow up toys and the BBQ area (well - we want one!)

Our only negative (and this certainly isn't of any fault to Jude and Jim at all) is next doors dogs! What a pain they are... daytime was fine - but as soon as evening came (when you want to spend time by the BBQ area with a glass of wine) they just barked continuously - one evening it was until 1.30 am (baring in mind we had gone inside at 22.00) it's such a shame as it kind of ruined two of our evenings there... also a baby gate on the top floor (on the stairs) would complete the full safety element of the villa!

We still give it a 5 out of 5 though...

Outstanding villa, loads of room, outstanding help when needed, the perfect place to spend a holiday

Can't fault the place or the owners, simply beautiful. We had 12 of us here and I can honestly say we had bags of room. The pool was outstanding and was complemented with an excellent outside space.The pool table and games area proved a missive success.

The villas location was within reach of all major attractions whilst keeping the tourist trappings at arms length.

Steve the caretaker was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble and thanks for the loan of the paella pans.

Everything you could think of was there or available, if it's not just ask.

Lovely villa needing a few small improvements

We stayed over Christmas and were lucky enough to have 7 days of beautiful sunshine despite the drop in temperature at night. We couldn't make full use of the outside areas but the kids did manage a Usain Bolt impression by jumping in and out of the pool in record time! The pool table was a big hit and the house was pretty well equipped overrall. Our only suggestions would be to replace the sofa back cushions and perhaps not let the basement bedroom in winter as it's very cold even with the heater. The wifi was a bit temperamental (the tv relies on wifi too) but Steve did his best to sort it out and is a very helpful and friendly guy. Really enjoyed exploring the area, especially Mijas and had a delicious tapas style Christmas lunch at The Farm in Marbella's old town. Loved the trees dripping with juicy oranges at the bottom of the street too.

Breathtaking!!! Cannot speak highly enough

What a fantastic villa. First time we've been on this type of holiday and could not recommend this place highly enough. Both the adults and the kids fell in love with the place and if you want to enjoy the Spanish culture, the local towns offer it in spades!! One or two little niggles were sorted by Steve immediately. Thank you for letting us stay and we'll be looking to book again next year.

Nearest beach is Fuengirola which is 20 mins away.The whole of the Costa Del Sol is available for beach visits. A favourite is Cala de Mijas, about 30 minutes drive away through some magnificent scenery. This is a quiet sandy beach, with a restaurant right on the sand, serving the best of delicious fresh fish. Fuengirola has all the fun of a traditional seaside resort, and Benalmadena has a cable car ride, water park and adventure park. A little further, and you can visit Torremolinos, Marbella,


Malaga airport is 30 minutes drive away. All the UK budget airlines fly to Malaga, such as Ryanair, Easyjet and Jet2.

A car is necessary.


It is 5km to Coin and Alhaurin el Grande. These are traditional lively Spanish towns with a wide range of services, supermarkets, restaurants etc. They each have a weekly market, and regular fiestas. Mijas is a famous hillside village, about 20 minutes away. Further afield, you can visit El Chorro, an area of lakes, rocks and gorges, in about an hour, while Ronda, another historic scenic town, is about 90 minutes away, as is Gibraltar. Granada and Sevilla can be reached in 2-3 hours.

Further Details:

Inland Costa del Sol is a wonderful area for exploring, with the best of both worlds - busy seaside towns, historic traditional Spanish pueblos, stunning mountain scenery and perfect peace and tranquillity. There is lots to do - visit the zoo at Fuengirola, water park at Torremolinos! Go horse riding, scuba diving or fishing! Have a drink at the marina in Puerto Banus and people-watch the millionaires! Catch the train in Fuengirola to Malaga and visit the Picasso museum! Spend 6 Euro and have a day at the video gaming hall in the nearby shopping centre, all games included!
