Fully equipped & privately owned apartment. Fully refurbished for the 2014 season. Sleeps 6 comfortably. The communal pool has 3 area's, one toddler pool, a child's pool & a large pool, set in well kept gardens and bar/restaurant area. There is a laundrette on site. There is a local bus service for a 15 minute ride to the capital Mahon. The apartment is on the first floor of a 2 story block allowing a peaceful location yet only a short distance to all amenities. TV & DVD player & wifi with WORLWIDE TV supplied with some DVD's & books. Siesta Mar 2 is a well kept, peaceful complex with many of the apartments being privately owned. The restaurant is available for buffet breakfast & evening meal with snacks available at lunch time. The bar is a few steps away from the apartment which provides free WIFI to guests. Just a short 3-5 minute walk will lead you to the village were you will find shops, restaurants, bank & evening entertainment. The Aloha cocktail bar was built by the owners and is legendary in Calan Poter. A 15 minute walk to the opposite end of the village will lead you to Cov a Den Xoria for spectacular views from the caves by day peaceful & tranquil , by night there is a night club with many people coming from all over Europe with famous DJ's performing, foam parties & a completely unique experience of night life.

First visited Calan Porter in 2003, have been twice a year every year since.
We have 6 children & 5 grandchildren, who all love Menorca, as it caters for all ages.
We love the island, not only because of all the beautiful beaches, places to explore, the friendliness of the local people, also the short flight from UK and only 15 minutes transfer from the airport makes the island a fantastic holiday location.

Excellent holiday and well equipped apartment!
We stayed here during the first week of September and it was our first holiday abroad with both our 1 and 4 year old! It was fantastic! We had the usual concerns about travelling abroad with young children and the owners were quick to put our minds at rest regarding safety and suitability. The balcony was completely safe and spacious to enjoy family meals. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare family meals and the balcony was lovely to relax on whilst our children were napping! The TV and free wifi was great for our 4 year old! The swimming pools were clean and a perfect temperature. The complex itself had a cafe/restaurant and bar And whilst the food was fairly basic it was great for our family needs. The beach was literally 5/10mins walk. Lots of steps down but well worth it and lovely shallow water which is great for young children. We also caught a few fish & crabs! One final point to add is the location of the supermarket...a stones throw from the apartment and when you're travelling abroad with young children there's nothing more handy than that!! It was very well stocked. We enjoyed walks in the evening with beautiful views across the sea. We didn't find a huge range of particularly child friendly places to eat but the places we did eat at were welcoming. Overall, a fantastic holiday and perfectly situated apartment. We're currently in the process of booking to go again! thank you!

Well equipped apartment with perfect facilities including pool with slides.
Walking distance to all bars,restaurants and gorgeous beach. Only 10 mins from airport. Hire a car for a few days and you will find more secret coves loved it ...will be back soon .
The most well equipped apartment I've stayed in, everything was thought about. Immaculately presented. Perfectly situated within the complex and Cala En Porter. Great sunsets from the balcony. 2 minutes from virtually everything. Very relaxing stay. Quality food, cheap too from the many restaurants. Never had a bad meal in the 7 nights we stayed. Can't wait to go back. Will probably go earlier in the season next time as it was very quiet (last week in Sept). Menorca as a place to go is probably one of the few places I wouldn't hesitate to go back to. Good flights, easy to get to, short flight and cheap when there. Looking forward to rebooking.
Great apartment great location
Apartment very clean and modern. Lovely views of the pool and fantastic location. Supermarket across the road and restaurants and bars minutes away. A great place for families, safe area. We had s wonderful holiday and would def come back to this apartment again!!
Perfect holiday apartment
Perfect holiday apartment it had everything that you could need and much more, it was cleaned to a high standard and all the equipment was as new and well maintained. The apartment is in a fantastic location with a brilliant pool view. The gardens around the complex are kept in very good condition and everyone in the resort was really friendly. The location was ideal and the view over the cove especially at sunset is amazing. The owners were really helpful and we will be recommending this apartment to our friends and family and we can not wait to return here again next year.
Great apartment ,exactly as seen and described
The property was exactly as the photographs, clean and with everything needed for our stay.The pools are clean and well maintained with the whole site kept in great condition .It is in a central location and minutes walk from restaurants bars and a 10 minute walk to the beach (that said expect a lot of steps ). The beach and cove area is fantastic and the views are superb , so we'll worth the walk. Would very much recommend eating at Hotel ,Club Menorca, the sunset views are stunning , also do the caves worth the euros for the again brilliant sunset .

Activity and Interests
The beach is 10 minutes walk away gaining access by the steps or a few minutes in a car gaining access by road. The road way also has a pathway.
The beach is set in a beautiful cove with bars, restaurants, shop and public WC.
There are water sport activities to hire also sunbeds & parasols.
The cove is surrounded by country side, mountains & Villas with beautiful views.
The islands main airport, Mahon, is a 15 minute drive. Taxis are always available costing from 18-20 euros. Car hire is not essential but would be recommended to take in the full beauty of the island.
The centre of Cala'n Porter is a few minutes from the apartment, numerous bars, restaurants, supermarkets and cash machines. There are several play areas for children in the village. The village of Sant Climent is a 5 min drive where you will find shops, bars, banking facilities and the famous casino bar jazz club. The beautiful capital Mahon town centre and Port area is a 15 min drive. A bus service is also available. There are many shops & good restaurants by the harbour with lovely views.
The Island is linked from Mahon to Cuitedella by one main road across the island. Most resorts are served from this main road making navigation to most places relatively straight forward. The island has many small coves, beaches to explore. Small boats can be hired from many locations to get to those only reached from the sea.
