Change over day is Saturday. Situated on Browns Hill, one of the original stepped entrances to Dartmouth, is a recently refurbished, terraced cottage in the centre of this picturesque town. Sleeps 4 (2 Bedrooms). Twenty Browns Hill is a recently refurbished cottage situated in the heart of Dartmouth on a secluded terrace off Browns Hill Steps. Purchased by the current owners in 2013, the property has undergone an extensive refurbishment to a very high standard. The accommodation comprises a modern, open plan living and kitchen area on the ground floor. On the first floor you will find a roomy double bedroom with en-suite shower room, and a modern, family bathroom. The twin bedroom on the second floor enjoys views over the rooftops of Dartmouth to the Castle and Kingswear. Your holiday cottage is fully centrally heated and is moments away from Dartmouth’s unique shops, galleries, restaurants and the stunning River Dart estuary. Free wireless broadband is provided. A car park pass is provided throughout the year for your convenience.

The present owners fell in love with Dartmouth and its surrounding area some years ago and wanted to spend more time in this special place. Twenty Browns Hill provides them with the opportunity to do this and to share the experience with friends, family and other guests. We hope to see you soon.

New Year in Dartmouth

This was our 3rd visit to this property and the reason we keep returning is it being so well maintained, its facilities,being very cosy and close to all shops and activities in Dartmouth.We had looked at other locations to spend the New Year but this property plus Dartmouth drew us back like a magnet.The property is exceptional and standards have been maintained since we first visited 2 years ago.We would like to thank the owners for the goodies of chocolates and a bottle of wine which was eagerly consumed. To anyone thinking of visiting Dartmouth in 2017 make this property your first choice you will not be disappointed.

A gem of a place

A stunning property right in the heart of Dartmouth. It is hidden up some steep steps and even with the regatta was very quiet and peaceful. It was spotlessly clean and nice welcome touches such as a scones, clotted cream and a bottle of wine. It is like a tardis - it felt spacious. Well equipped, the only think lacking was a washing machine - however there is a nice laundrette two minutes walk away so not a problem. We really fell in love with the place and Dartmouth. Blackpool Sands is a must if you want a beach. We are seriously considering a return visit.

Lovely Holiday Accommodation

Overall the property was very good and the little touches like leaving a pint of milk , a bottle of wine and the fresh scones and cream were a thoughtful touch. The property was in an excellent location being only a few minutes walk from the shops. The owners customer service was also very good and i would not hesitate recommending it. There are also plenty of tourist information books left here for you to go sightseeing. There is no garden at this property, and that maybe an issue for some holidaymakers but as long as your aware of this there would be no other problem with this rental. We did some lovely walks around Dartmouth and Kingswear ( just a short boat ride @ £2.50 return) all found from the tourist information books provided. There is a great pub called the Floating Boat that does fantastic food and large portions, although the drinks a pricey.

Gorgeous home from home in the heart of Dartmouth!

We had such a lovely stay in Dartmouth recently, a picturesque town and a lovely place to call home. 20 Browns Hill is a well equipped base in the heart of Dartmouth- close to all the action and yet tucked away enough to enjoy some down time. Lovely modern interior and set out conveniently over three floors- ideal for a family. House was clean and tidy, and the fridge even had some welcome in essentials- scones, jam and wine! Thank you for a lovely stay- we'll be back!

Tranquility

This is a tardis of a cottage. Really clean and well decorated and furnished. It is slap bang in the middle of Dartmouth but off the beaten track. Just about everything in Dartmouth is within 5 minutes walk. Fantastic for children. The park is a couple of minutes away and of course crabbing almost on the doorstep. For a small family I thought the house was perfection. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to go again.

Perfect location

A lovely bright,clean cottage, we took advantage of the car parking pass touring around South Hams, but also due to its central location enjoyed walking, boat and steam train trips during our stay and we would certainly recommend this cottage.

Booking Notes:
Booking by telephone or email. Money to be paid in full if booking within 6 weeks of stay. If more than 6 weeks we require a £60 (£100 in high season) deposit to secure the booking with full balance to be paid 6 weeks before your stay. Payments to be made by bank transfer or cheque (allowing 7 days to clear). A security deposit of £100 is requested with, and in addition to, the full balance. Deposits are non refundable. If the booking is cancelled within 6 weeks of arrival no refund will be provided. We recommend that you take out the appropriate travel insurance to avoid disappointment.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday. Check out by 10 am and check in after 3 pm.

A deposit of £60 per week (£100 for peak weeks) is required to secure the booking. The balance is then due 6 weeks before arrival along with a refundable security deposit of £100

Notes on accommodation: The property is a no smoking property and no pets are allowed. The rooms are arranged over 3 floors. It is ideally suited to couples or families. There is no parking space on Browns Hill, however, cars can be unloaded/loaded at the roadside. The cost of your holiday includes a parking permit for the town’s main car park close by the property. Outside: The kitchen opens onto a small outside terrace. Cleaning / Towels / Linen: Towels, tea towels and bedlinen are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
