Apartment in Marbella, Costa del Sol, Spain - 4 Swimming Pools In Complex And 2 Minute Drive To Beach & Cabopino Port

This modern, ground floor apartment is superbly furnished to the highest standards and comes fully equipped with integrated air conditioning/central heating plus free fibre optic Internet access. In addition, there is a full range of UK TV channels (BBC, ITV & Channels 4 & 5) as well as Spanish ones. Also, some German, Scandinavian & French channels plus others.

Consisting of a gated community for added security, there is a lift to this ground floor apartment from a private underground car park thus permitting easy access for those with young families or for the not so young. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with magnificent exotic flowers & shrubs and 4 swimming pools (including one for children) all cascading into one another by means of an artificial river. The largest pool, which is the one nearest the apartment, has a jacuzzi and 4 fountains. Lifeguards are on duty in high season at all 4 pools which are cleaned on a year round basis.

The apartment is within walking distance of local bars & restaurants & is beside the Port of Cabopino where one can dine overlooking the marina & luxury boats. Cabopino has 1,200m of beach with a variety of water sports, relaxed atmosphere, beautiful harbour, top class bars and restaurants serving Spanish, European, Italian, Indian and Chinese food to suit all tastes. A key feature of Cabopino is that, in the Plaza, parents can sit and relax outside the restaurants and bars while keeping a watchful eye on their children playing in the Plaza.

Marbella, Puerto Banus and Fuengirola are only a short drive away. With their major shopping malls, they provide retail therapy for those seeking a break from either sunbathing or golf.

So, whether one wants to stroll around the traditional cobbled streets of Marbella Old Town including Orange Square, visit the sophisticated, chic & bustling marina of Puerto Banus, relax on golden beaches close by or play a round of golf on the many award winning golf courses, this location is ideal.

Just some of the facilities nearby are a waterpark, zoo and crocodile park in Fuengirola. There is a breathtaking cable car ride in Benalmadena (one passes under it coming from the airport). Amazon Adventura with tree top adventures and 20+ zip lines is in Elveria. There is also a wildlife park (Selwo) in the direction of Estepona. The nearby beach is second to none and the swimming pools are set in beautiful tropical gardens. There are many excellent restaurants and bars close by where the staff and owners are all very friendly and welcoming.

This is certainly the place to come for a quiet, peaceful holiday or you can live it up and stay out ‘til dawn…or you can do a bit of both!

Even though we have been coming here for a number of years, we still discover new places to visit and find different bars & restaurants where we can meet up with people of different ages, nationalities & backgrounds.

Notes on accommodation: As it is a ground floor apartment with easy access, it is very suitable for both young and not so young. CD and DVD players and selection of DVDs and CDs are provided as well as free Internet access. Smoking is permitted on the terrace but not in the apartment. Ashtrays are provided. The powerful, integrated air conditioning/central heating system provides cool air in the summer and warm air in the winter. Outside: The 4 swimming pools are available on a shared basis to all holidaymakers. Garden seats & parasols are provided in the gardens and around the swimming pools. The sunbeds in the apartment can be brought to the pools & gardens. Toilet and shower facilities are also available at the pool area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen Both bath and beach towels are provided as well as bed linen. The apartment is cleaned before and after each visit. There are no additional charges for laundry, linen changing or cleaning as they are all included in the price. Other: Access to the private terrace for dining & sunbathing is through the lounge's large patio doors.

Exceptional apartment!

We have just returned from a weeks stay in this lovely immaculate apartment. This apartment has all the mod cons and a great air con system which is a huge plus considering how hot it gets during the summer months.

The pool areas are lovely and relaxing, we used to spend a few hours there early evening after spending the day at the beach, the grounds are very well kept and the complex is very safe and secure. If you do decide to hire a car there is also very secure underground parking.

This apartment is in the perfect location to explore all of the surrounding areas of Las Chapas/Cabopino, and the nearest beach is only a 5 minute drive away.

Thanks again Betty for being so accommodating and letting us visit your apartment at such short notice. The information you provided us was spot on and if we do decide to get married in the area I will be sending your information pack to our guests as it was so informative and helpful.

Lovely well equipped and clean apartment conveniently close to the pool.

Grounds are well maintained and pool area clean. Was impressed with lifeguards on duty (July /Aug only I think). Liked the informal feel of the place, other guests were all very friendly, nice mix of nationalities. BYO sunbed arrangement meant no issues with people reserving places by the pool! Whilst no bar or shop on site, the nearest was a short stroll away and probably saved us a fortune on ice creams! Some great restaurants near by, nearest ones are 15/20 min walk. Our favourite was Simbads, a Spanish beach restaurant, fabulous Paella and seafood towards Las Chapas (20/30 min walk), lovely spot for dinner but you need to book. Plenty of places to visit in the area by car if you wish. Good value apartment, Thanks Betty!

Nice Clean well organised apartment with nice pool

Nice apartment which was clean and well organised. Apartment complex was very nice with great pool and gardens. Owners are helpful and friendly.

The only thing to observe is that it is quite a distance from the beach/resort so you may need a car. Taxis are readily available otherwise.

The apartment is up a hill for anyone with walking difficulties.

As described on our O/D listing, the beach and Port of Cabopino are 2 kilometers away which is one of the reasons we recommend car hire although some of our guests prefer not to as they enjoy the 15 to 20 minute stroll to and from the beach and the Port. Taxis back to the apartment are very reasonable (€7 to €8) and are readily available which is handy as the final 80 metres are uphill. Best wishes, Betty

Beautiful apartment ******

We had a wonderful two week stay here, a lovely peaceful place and a beautiful apartment. Capbino beach is a fifteen minute walk away, the marina is lovely. We really enjoyed the Village Inn which is a ten minute walk. We got the bus into Marbella a couple of times (€1.55 per person!) and had some good days out, but I think I would hire a car next time as there is so much to do and this would make it a lot easier.

There are a few restaurants on site and they are very good. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday, our teenage kids enjoyed it. Betty couldn't have been more helpful and Sergio went above and beyond to make sure we were OK was great.

Fantastic

We had a fantastic stay in this very well equipped department. It was extremely clean, and the building was very well maintained.

Communication between Betty and myself was second to none. A very helpful lady, with plenty of ideas where to shop, visit and eat.

Pool area very quiet, which was great. We also hired a car (would definitely recommend) Places of interest to visit: Puerto Banus, Market on Monday Marbella, Gibraltar and the cable cart Benalmadena.

Can’t wait to book again for another relaxing break.

Coast/Beach:

A 2 minute drive or a 15 minute walk to Cabopino beach which is known as one of the finest 1,200 metres of beach on the Costa. There one will find beautiful white sand, sunbeds & parasols as well as all types of water sports & activities such as sailing, para-gliding, scuba diving and jet-skiing. Cabopino also has many beach bars serving top quality, inexpensive food & drink.

La Cala de Mijas and Elveria beaches are less than 10 minutes away.

Travel:

Malaga Airport is 30km from the apartment. Car Hire is readily available and highly recommended although the taxi service is top class. Try and use a Car Hire Firm that provides you with a full tank of fuel and asks you to return it full...that way, you only pay for the fuel you use.

There is a regular bus service from the airport to Las Chapas, 0.5 km from the apartment.

Distances:

From the apartment, Cabopino is 2km, Marbella Old Town is 12km and Fuengirola is 18km.

Traditional White Villages: Mijas & Benahavis are both 25 kms away.

Further Details:

There are several bars, restaurants & supermarkets within walking distance or a 5 minute drive.

There are also a number of major shopping malls worth visiting - Miramar & El Corte Ingles in Fuengirola and La Canada in Marbella are all only 15 mins away and there is another El Corte Ingles in Puerto Banus.

Fuengirola, Marbella & Puerto Banus have numerous upmarket designer shops and boutiques.

Street markets are a must. . . . All early morning to early afternoon. Marbella is Monday & Friday, Tuesday is Fuengirola and Benahavis, Wednesday is Estepona & Benalmadena Costa, Thursday is San Pedro, Saturday is Puerto Banus and Sunday is Estepona Port.

For the young (and young at heart), Tivoli World, the Zoo, a Crocodile park, the Water park and a breathtaking Cable Car are a 15/20 minute drive away in the direction of Torremolinos. In the opposite direction, Aventura Amazonia in Elveria (2kms away) has numerous tree challenges plus 20 zip lines and further on towards Estepona is Selwo Safari Park.

Exotic locations such as Rhonda, Granada, Seville, Gibraltar, the Costa de la Luz and Morocco are all within a few hours' drive from the apartment.
