About the Owner

We are a retired English couple who fell in love with the area on our first visit in 2013. The building is a 2 story Villa where we live on the top floor apartment which we purchased Jan 2014. Although we live onsite we realise guest privacy is important, but if we are needed for information or help we are available. We don't use the pool area when guest stay and have our own private terrace and entrance.

Just returned from a great week .This really is a marvelous rental, which we used as a base for checking out the area with a view to buying locally.

It has all you could want inside,and lots of outside and inside space and a great pool area.

Literally 3 mins walk to very good bars and restaurants,2 mins in car to nearest Supermarket .Kate and Steve are there if need them, which is very helpful.

Have rented 5 times locally and this is the only one we will be returning to.

Our flight was delayed 3 hours and then divertedfrom Murcia to Alicante, so instead of arriving at 9pm we arrived at 12am! When I turned my mobile on Steve had left us message to say no problem take your time and see you when you get here,now that is service!

So if could give 6 stars I would. You won`t be disapointed

We spent a lovely week in this fabulous apartment. Steve & Kate were great hosts and very helpful with local knowledge.

Apartment is very well equipped with everything you need.

Local bars & restaurants within walking distance.

We will definitely go back again and highly recommended this apartment and area.

Really enjoyed staying in this apartment, it has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Steve and Kate were very friendly and helpful having a good knowledge of the local area recommending good restaurants and beaches etc. The private pool and barbeque area especiay We would definitely recommend a holiday in this lovely property for families or couples.

Excellent place to relax and recharge!!

Well without trying to copy the reviews that we had read before our stay,everything is just like they say.

The apartment is clean spacious with all the tools you need for that relaxing time as described. Even with a choice of hard or soft mattresses, the outdoor space provides a lovely pool and BBQ area for all to enjoy.

The village is just a short walk away with an abundance of restaurants and bars, with all tastes catered for.

The hosts (Kate Steve and Nugget) are gems of local knowledge and are always willing to give directions and offer advice to enable you to find just what you are looking for (from markets to ice cream by the sea)

Like others before us we will be returning to this splendid home away from home (in the sun).

Relax and enjoy.

What a great place for our family break. Kate and Steve gave a warm welcome, even helping us with some shopping for breakfast as we arrived quite late. This is a gem of a find and easily surpassed my expectations. Everything we needed was provided and the apartment itself is excellent with 3 large comfortable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which really helped when all getting good ready to go out. Both the living area and kitchen are also spot on.

Outside the pool area is great with a good size very well kept pool, sunbeds, shower , barbecue and toilet. Sunshine and peace and quiet.

On a night if you do not want to drive, within 5 mins walk are a good selection of restaurants and bars. We enjoyed some great food especially in Juanita's which we used twice on an evening. My wife and daughter also using it on a couple of dinner times whilst we played golf.

On the golf front lo romero golf course is within 10 minutes drive and is excellent a good challenge and in excellent condition. We also played roda gc which is about 25mins away but easy to find.

Within a short drive there are some great beaches with our personnel favourite being Horadada. Here you also have a small square just a short walk from the beach (2mins) with some great restaurants and a fantastic ice cream parlour which is a real treat. We ate in Willy's which is really friendly with a great atmosphere and great food.

All in all we had a fab holiday. Thanks Kate and Steve hopefully catch you again soon.

Superb apartment and hosts

We have had the pleasure of staying in the apartment on a few occasions prior to buying our own property in the village. The apartment is absolutely immaculate and you will want for nothing. Steve and Kate are just the perfect hosts and will always be here for any advice on places to visit locally etc and tips to enhance your stay. Superb location in terms of easy access to the village centre and could not recommend this apartment more highly 😄😄

Pinar de Campoverde is a lovely peaceful place to live and holiday with friendly people of Spanish and British nationalities it has great access to so many other areas situated in the Costa Blanca area.

Activity and Interests


The nearest beach is a 10-15 minute drive.Other gorgeous beaches can be found at Torre horadada, and La Zenia.


The closest airport is Murcia which is approx 20 minute drive. Alicante is approx 50 minutes on Ap-7(motorway).Ap-7 is a toll road having 2 tolls on route.


La Zenia Blvd is approx 15mins by car and was built in 2012. It has a vast array of shops inc Zara, Primark, C&A, Guess, H&M. Resturants range from Tapas, American style diners, Chinese along with many coffee bars serving cakes and pastries. Torrevieja is approx 25 mins with a wonderful beach and promenade and many good resturants.

Further Details:

The local area of Pinar de Campoverde hosts the pretty Rio Seco natural park where you can walk along the usually dry bed of the river. Tennis courts are also nearby. The Village is a 3 min walk from the apartment were you will find a chemist, doctor's, dental surgery, 3 hair dressing salons and with 2 beauty salons and a few local gift shops also offering a postal service and a wide variety of restaurants(Spanish, Chinese and Indian). There is also a local pub serving English food. and you will also find other small bars and cafes for coffee and snacks. Approx a 5 minute walk from the apartment is a bank with atm, supermarket that carries a wide range of English foods inc. chocolate, bacon, beans , sauces and newspapers. There is a mixture of English and Spanish with English widely spoken in all areas mentioned. Also a small park for children.
