About Alexandra Simpson

Ronnie and I were delighted to be asked by a close friend if we would be interested in looking after his beautiful home when he and his family moved abroad. We agreed it was a perfect house for holiday lets and we promised to look after this house as if it were our own. We are a small family business looking after holiday homes but we live only 5 miles from the property and will be available should you need us. Ronnie and I have taken many family holidays in rented houses over the years and latterly with our daughter Rhoda, her husband, Gary, and their girls. We think we know what holiday makers are looking for and that is a beautiful house but a family home where they can relax and be comfortable. We hope you agree :-) Should you have any questions, Rhoda will e mail you back.

Beautiful & well-equipped farmhouse

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying here - even with four couples, a two-year-old and babies of two months and four months it was spacious, both indoors & outdoors. Inside it's clean, fresh, comfortable and roomy ... we particularly appreciated the generous provision of bathrooms & toilets! Outside there's lots of grass to run about on, and the River Tay is only 50 metres away. The location is great - real countryside feel, but convenient for Perth, Dunkeld and Pitlochry - ticks all the boxes!

Pilling/Pieterse families visit Perthshire

Fabulous well appointed property with a great location!

Our relatives from South Africa really enjoyed their stay with us a nd their 'Scottish' experience!

However, disappointed that the dishwashers were either condemned or not functioning properly, as was the righthand oven/grill!

Owner's Response: Hi, it's a pity you didn't check the utility room which opens onto the kitchen where there is a brand new functioning dishwasher! I'm sorry you didn't let us know about the grill and we would have arranged a repair rather than advertising it retrospectively. We can only find out about problems through guests.

Fabulous property. This property met our need in every aspect. A lovely kitchen dining area where we could sit a chat while the meal was being prepared. Lots of toys for our 3 year old granddaughter. A great experience in a beautiful part of Scotland.
