The apartment has an open plan area for lounge, kitchen and diner, recently upgraded with new furniture. An added feature of the property is the private garden. Sot Pedro apartments are in an excellent location, it is within walking distance of L'Escala village, beaches and supermarkets.

Lovely, well situated apartment

Not long come back from our fantastic holiday in L'Escala. The apartment was great, exactly as shown in the photos. It was clean and tidy when we arrived and fully equipped with everything we needed while we were there. Having the outside space was lovely and the communal gardens and barbeque were nice. The pool was never crowded and always looked clean. We were in a really good position to walk to the beach, supermarkets and town. Perhaps if you were there longer, a car would probably be nice if you wanted to go further afield but we were never bored during our 11 days. L'Escala is a lovely town, not too touristy and safe enough for my teenage daughters to have a look round on their own. A number of beaches to choose from. Plenty of bars and reasonably priced restaurants. Lots of shops to keep my 14 year olds happy. Ken and Sandra are lovely people. Ken gave us a quick tour of the town giving us some ideas for where to eat etc when we arrived. He also got in touch before we arrived to suggest him getting some essentials in for us which was great as we arrived in the early hours of the morning. Nothing was too much trouble for either of them. All in all a lovely place and we can't wait to book again for next year!

Activity and Interests


L'Escala is easy to get to from all over Europe, using plane, train or car.

Fly to Girona airport only 45 mins away, Barcelona 1 hour 45 mins and Perpignan about 1 hour 15mins.

L'Escala is only 20 mins once you take exit 5 on the AP-7 motorway.

Driving from Uk to L'Escala takes an average of 13hrs from Calais.

The closest local train station is Flaça about 20 mins away, served well by trains from Barcelona and the French border, larger stations are situated in Figueras and Girona.


Places of interest to visit would include: Roman Ruins at Empuries

Local beaches and old town, Museum of Salt and Anchovies, Montgo bay, all within the L'Escala area.

An ideal spot for exploring further afield either by car or the local bus service.

Figueras only 20 minutes by car, Girona 40 minutes.

L'Escala town has a wide selection of restaurants to suit all tastes, with a traditional spanish feel. It is a former fishing village which is famous for the locally caught anchovies still sold today. Surrounded by beautiful blue flag beaches, with crystal clear waters ideal for swimming and snorkelling.

A smaller holiday resort with limited hotels, more an area of private apartments and villas available for rent all year round.

A village of winding streets with small local shops to wander around, also good selection of the larger supermarkets.

A resort with many activities available including, walking routes, windsurfing, kayaking, scuba diving, horse riding and tennis courts.
