Gorgeous Little Hideaway!

  • 5 of 5

Such a lovely property which has everything you need for a relaxing break. Beautifully decorated and really cosy - not to mention the duck theme which the children loved! In a great location too - my husband was working during our stay but the children and I frequently used the train station at Wool (short taxi drive away) to venture further afield. Perfect property, couldn't fault it and hope to visit again! Zoe was very accommodating and communication was excellent. Thank you!

Lovely comfortable property.

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here for a long weekend and visited many of the local attractions - Monkey World, Lulworth Cove, Arne nature reserve etc. Great area and the cottage is very comfortable and beautifully finished. Not quite sure how Zoe manages to keep it so pristine when clearly a lot of families stay here! Anyway, she does. The only slight niggle I would have is running out of toilet paper on the second day - not realising there were no spare supplies. We regularly have "cottage" holidays and I can't remember the last time we had to buy toilet paper. Equally, we have also always found some milk in the fridge as a minimum and generally a little welcome pack. This goes a long way I think for probably minimal outlay - but there was none of this. There was tea and coffee in the cupboard though.

Apart from that fairly minor niggle all was good and we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend both the cottage and the area. In our rush to leave, we forgot to write in the visitors book unfortunately so sorry for that Zoe!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your kind words :) Im so sorry there wasn't back up loo roll, an oversight on my part! I used to leave milk in the fridge, but found with peoples varied tastes regarding milk types that it often got left. I will certainly have a rethink though. I hope you come back to stay again!

Wonderful stay, lovely cottage in a peaceful location :)

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful stay, lovely clean cottage in a peaceful location but still close to attractions, monkey world, corfe castle, lulworth cove etc.

The cottage was perfect, plenty of room for the 4 of us. Lovely to watch the local wildlife outside the window.

Hopefully will be back soon :)

Lovely property in a nice quiet area

  • 4 of 5

Beautiful property finished and equipped to a high standard. The owner was always helpful and provided us with all we needed. They very kindly decorated the cottage for the christmas holiday, so that was definitely appreciated. The property is in a great location and we were blessed with some great weather - ideal for walks along the Purbeck Cliffs. Great cottage, great holiday!

Lovely

  • 5 of 5

Overall the property was clean and delightful. The walk from the car to the property was a surprise. There were a few niggles but they did not distract from the enjoyment. The property is situated in a good position for Wareham, Corfe, Dorchester, and the coast road to Charmouth; what wonderful views! Corfe is one of my all time favourite villages and I always have a pasty from the bakers and a tea from the grocers and go to the picnic area by the Congregational Church which has a lovely view, and even an adult playground! Wareham is lovely too and a walk round the 'walls' is enjoyable. The cafe food in Wyvale garden centre is also delicious. Worth Matravers and the walk to St Adhelm's Head is wonderful too.

The owner was always a phone call away and they responded promptly when we had a power cut.

I would recommend this property to others and I will keep it in my file for visiting again.
