This luxury 5* is just 200 meters from the sea, it boosts 2 swimming pools 1 with child friendly levels. It has 24 hour security and underground parking, with Mediterranean gardens and water features.2 minutes walk from the apartment is a small beach with Promenade and beach side bars,as well as the Nautilus restaurant which is right on the edge of the sea and has amazing view. There is a second larger beach just 3mins in the other direction. this has its own beach bar and lift down to the beach. The Punta Prima Restaurant, which has recently undergone a beautiful new refurbishment overlooks this beach.This also has stunning views of the Mediterranean. The apartment can be reached by taxi within 30mins from Alicante airport or 15mins from San Javier airport. It is 10mins away by taxi to bustling Torrevieja which has a long promenade with lots of shops and cafes. It also has good nightclubs, casino, marina with submarine and boat trips form the front. There is also a water park situated on the main N332. Near to Punta Prima is the beach location of La Zenia which also boasts of its new Zenia Boulevard shopping centre, which is the largest in Alicante. it has approx 150 shops, ranging from Zara, Swarovski, Guess, Pull & Bear to C&A, Primark. Theres also a large play area for the children as well as numerous bars and restaurants.

Notes on accommodation: No smoking please Outside: The apartment has a balcony area with patio furniture, with views of the sea which is a short distance away.The outside areas are beautifully landscaped with curved paths. There are 2 good sized swimming pools in the complex with both decking and grass areas for sunbathing, with outside showers and life guards in high season. Utility Room: The utility room has a washer/dryer and has good storage space for ironing board and airer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: There bath towels as well as tea towels and bath mats are provided. The property is professionally cleaned at the end of every stay. Other: There is also an underground storage room for bikes, loungers etc.

Best apartment we have ever stayed in.

The apartment was much bigger that we had expected it to be from the pictures and afforded us a very pleasant and relaxing stay. It had almost everything we needed for our stay including sun loungers to take down to one of the 3 pool areas and a parasol. The balcony is also very spacious and at certain times of the day it gets some sunshine or part-sunshine whilst at other times it's in the shade, it's ideal for enjoying your meals or just relaxing. The allocated parking pace in the underground car park is very convenient as it is very close to the exit from the lift. The La Recoleta comex is a Gated Complex with therefore very coand the gated complex and very secure with patrols by Security. It is just a fewinutes walk to the beach, which was ideal. There is no Wifi which would have been the icing on the cake. However with tethering and free roaming available now, it was not a big issue so definitely a 5 Star apartment. Thanks to Alison for all the helpful emails and to Helen for meeting us on our arrival at 23.30 hours and showing us around.

Comfortable and well equipped apartment.

Very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment in punta prima area. Great location, with beaches and lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance .

Apartment well equipped and very comfortable. Lovely, well kept gardens and three lovely pools, however the space around the pools was limited, so get there early. The queen size bed in the master bedroom was a lovely surprise. Bedding was spotlessly clean and my only reason for dropping a star was the fact then when we entered the apartment, it felt like it hadn't been opened up in a long while. All shutters and curtains were closed and it was stiflingly hot. The fridge had been switched off but unfortunately the door was closed, which resulted in the inside being full of black, furry mouldy. Luckily I always travel with antibacterial wipes so the problem was easily rectified. Apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

I have holidayed in this apartment for 2 consecutive years and have booked for my parents to go on their second visit this year! Apartment is very presentable and well situated with everything you could need for a fully self catered holiday! It is an ideal place to stay as a family holiday with young or teenaged children and also my parents (both 70) who thou rashly enjoyed the walks and local areas! The. Complex has 3 lovely pools which include a children's pool with a long narrow pool next to it which is ideal for the more serious swimmers. There are loads of bars and restaurants all within walking distance which include a very popular Spanish restaurant with Spanish dancers, I recommend you book this early on in your holiday as it is extremely popular! There is also a well stocked large supermarket within walking distance but for the larger shops staff here will be happy to book you a taxi for the return with all your shopping! There is a good water park a 20min taxi drive away, 2 tips for this is to go early to avoid large queue's and if you don't want to break the bank take your own drinks and packed lunch (there is a cool box in the apartment). If you like markets there is a huge market in a nearby village/town which you could spend hours browsing in, again it's a short taxi ride but the fares are quite cheap. All in all a fantastic location and apartment that will suit all types of ages. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be booking a visit there very soon.

Coast/Beach:

2 minutes walk from the apartment is a small beach with Promenade and beach side bars,as well as the Nautilus restaurant which is right on the edge of the sea and has amazing view. The Punta Prima Restaurant, which has recently undergone a beautiful new refurbishment overlooks this beach.

Travel:

Alicante airport is approx 40mins driving distance and San Javier airport is just 15mins. Car hire isn't essential. Transport to and from airport can be arranged be arranged at an extra cost.

Distances:

The main strip is 10mins walk from the apartment which is accessed through the quiet streets of Punta Prima . The strip has numerous bars and restaurants, Chinese, Italian,Spanish and English. Across the road over the N322, accessed by over road bridge, are further bars and restaurants as well as large supermarket, large electrical store, petrol station and McDonalds. There is also the traditional Spanish Patio Andaluz Restaurant which host live Flamenco dancing weekly.

Further Details:

There are several banks and Currency exchange facilities on the main strip, as well as Fit 4 All fitness centre. To the south is Playa Flamenco which is in walking distance along the coast line, and further on is La Zenia which has a large beach.
