About the Owner

My first experience of Northumberland was when I started my Nurse training at 18, on days off we had many a visit up the coast and I loved it.

After following my career I decided to return with my family and we bought St Elmo to live in while we built up our New business The Red Lion Inn. We have now been here for 10 years and although it has been tough I often pinch my self thinking do we really live here.

Contemporary mixed furniture with expensive old fashioned furniture .. Beautiful bathrooms & shower room .. Immaculate kitchen stocked with utensils to use / fridge / freezer / iron etc . It is in a little place called Alnmouth .. 2 mins from the beach .. Shops / pubs on your doorstep .. Really quiet .. I absolutely loved it & will go back soon .

Owner's Response: Helen Many thank for your kind comments. Glad you enjoyed your stay in St Elmo's, as we say in Alnmouth "If you've had a bad time, tell everyone, but if you've had a good time say nothing" ghat way you'll be able to book again and not lose out by all your friends booking before you. Again thank you for staying, hope to see you soon. Regards Mac
