first impressions clean, tidy, wonderful views , excellent hunting for crabs for the children, overall we had a beautiful relaxing holiday. 3 pubs in the village 1 right next door but are very respectful of there neighbors, the Scooner bar across the road gave excellent food and are very welcoming .
Excellent property in a lovely friendly village.
Stayed at this property twice. Last year for a week with my husband, sons and a girlfriend of my oldest son. We have family in the village and in Fermoy so a family reunion and a spot of sightseeing.
Then stayed again this April with my mother, sister and nephew. Again caught up with family, visited Fermoy, Cobh, Cork City, Kinsale and Blarney as well as all of the village pubs and eateries. Lovely property, in a beautiful village with friendly people. Well recommended.

This wonderful little cottage has that 'wow' facto
Ideal little cottage in a village with lots of character. The views from the back of this house is wonderful and patio area is ideal for the little ones to play. Recommend doing the Ballycotton Lighthouse tour, really special, all the restaurant serve really good food. Pier 29 is really worth a night out.
Perfect family stay
We came to Sea Haven for a family reunion in Cork and chose to stay by the sea in Ballycotton with my parents and teenage daughter. The house was perfect for us, plenty of room, an open fire, clean and tidy and with spectacular sea view. My sister & her family visited one evening and there was room for all. The local area is stunning with loads to do and the bars on the doorstep have something for everyone. The seafood chowder at The Schooner in front of the open fire is a must as well as the Skinny's Diner fish & chip delivery service and afternoon tea at The Bayview Hotel - all easy walking distance. Thanks to Caroline for making this a pleasant trip and an easy transaction. We will be back if we're allowed!
Sea Haven Ballycotton
It's the third time we have stayed here and it never dissapoints. Fantastic cottage plenty of room and a lovely patio overlooking the bay. We were very lucky to see 4 dolphins in the bay it made our holiday. The village has everything you need and the people are so friendly , the cliff walk is breathtaking . There is also a lovely beach nearby which is great for familys .
This property is ideally situated in Ballycotton - it is literally by the sea and we enjoyed amazing views - of the sea, the sky and the local birds.
It is a spacious property with plenty of room upstairs and down.
There are 4 pubs and a hotel in Ballycotton - we enjoyed lovely food in the Schooner pub and at the Bayview Hotel which has a stunning terrace with wonderful views
Whilst in Ballycotton we easily explored east Cork and west Waterford - the roads on the whole were pretty empty (avoid Cork City though - use the Park and Ride)
We had a lovely week of great weather - Sea Haven was the ideal base for our holiday and the ability to just sit on the terrace and enjoy the early morning sun and the almost midnight! sun was an absolute bonus.
