About Tim Paterson

We live in London with our Spaniel. We both work but enjoy the seaside and sailing.

Tim Paterson purchased this apartment in 2013

Why Tim Paterson chose Whitstable

I love what Whitstable has to offer, the working harbour, beach walks and general love of the sea, sound of the Gulls. That you can switch off, as soon as you drive over the hill into Whitstable and see the sea in the distance! My wife, dogs and I thrive on soaking it all up!

What makes this apartment unique

Mutleys hut at the end go the garden offers a great space to work or read or just chill. It has Wifi and seating which can be used on the deck in front.

Guestbook comments from the owner

From the moment we stepped through the front door we felt at home. The property is beautifully finished, is well equipped with everything you would need and was spotlessly clean and tidy. We didnt arrive until quite late so the bottle of wine left for us was opened and we ordered a take away from the selection of menus left in the welcome pack it was a great start. We had brought along our dog so the garden space was great for him and very secure. Whitstable is lovely and was the perfect place for long walks along the beach and then having lunch and looking through the shops. Thoroughly relaxing when the kids are not around! In all we had a great two nights at 10a and would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a break in Whitstable. Windy corner cafe at the bottom of Nelson Road is worth checking out for a great coffee and breakfast before setting out and Pearsons was great for lunch! Huge credit to Tim and Tara for providing such a great place to stay in, a memorable experience! Thanks.

Gorgeous little flat I. Great location

  • 5 of 5

Lovely hosts have gone out of their way to make this a home from home. Super peaceful but nice and close to the centre of town. Time was super hopeful when we had a bit of a problem with the door and everything was resolved really quickly. Will definitely be back in the future. Would love to enjoy the garden and Mutleys hit in summertime. Thank you!!

Perfect accommodation for a seaside getaway..

  • 5 of 5

The location of the apartment is excellent. The property is well maintained and beautifully decorated, has a lovely comfy bed, bed linen and towels are high quality. It has everything you need including a secluded garden, summer house and bbq. There are tennis courts a 2 min walk away as is the beach. There are some good cycle routes from Whitstable to Canterbury and coastal route to Birchington. 10a West Cliff is a great place to explore from and you can leave the car behind with good walking/cycling and public transport.

Very clean

  • 4 of 5

Lovely house, good location, great garden facilities, only slight moan is the front and back doors are difficult to unlock and lock, haha, but apart from that can't fault it at all, has everything you could possibly need, home from home.

Beautifully decorated and clean. Deserves 5 stars!

  • 5 of 5

We were most impressed with every aspect of this beautifully decorated and appointed holiday home. The towels and sheets were of exceptional quality and we had every facility to hand. Sadly we could only stay for two nights but we will certainly recommend our friends, and we will return. Thanks go to Tim and Tara for everything including the goodies on our arrival. Parking only proved difficult on one occasion.

High quality, quiet though central apartment in attractive Whitstable.

  • 5 of 5

This apartment (lower half of a house) is very central and yet very quiet. It is beautifully furnished, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a short stay. The owners left us wine and nibbles, which was most welcome, and it was especially nice to find tea, coffee, milk, and many other condiments in the kitchen which was particularly useful. All fitments in the flat were of a high quality, and it was also spotlessly clean. We found parking each day in the street in front. Whitstable is charming, with lots of seafood restaurants and many individual shops, and a wonderful beach front.
