Duplex Villa near Correlejo in the village of La Capallania, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands - Peaceful Location - 5 Minutes From The Main Town Of Corralejo, 10 Minutes Drive From El Cotillo

The house is a detached three bedroom property in a peaceful community that has predominantly English and Spanish residents. The house boasts a car port, separate, kitchen, living area and two bathrooms. There is a 40 Inch SmartTV connected to the internet, DVD/Blue-Ray player, Stereo (Mini hi fi with USB/Docking port), WiFi and satellite TV. There is a great garden space with upstairs terrace which is very hot at times and offers great privacy as the house is on a corner plot and cannot be overlooked. Its great for having loud music or outside barbecues under the night sky and nobody could get disturbed. In the daytime, the the pool is very relaxing and great for a proper swim. The peaceful location and views is great for getting away from it all...! The location between the locations of El Cotillo and Corralejo is great and its only a short drive by car to either. Both locations offer the most amazing beaches which could be truly anywhere in the world.

Satalite TV includes popular UK terestrial TV in addition to regular free-to-air channels.

Pool table will be available from approximately November 2014.

The property is in a great location slightly out from the main town and is between two fantastic coastal retreats or Corralejo and El Cotillo. The house has mountain views and you can see the sea to the distance. Its really peaceful and a great place to get some peace and quiet.

The community pool is great because its a good size and you can have a proper swim also. Its always clean with decent facilities and the neighbours are really friendly.

Notes on accommodation: Additional blankets are supplied to each bedroom throughout the year as no heating is supplied or deemed not necessary. Wi-Fi is Free within the villa but guests must use their own, phones, laptops. Access to the community pool is by electronic security card. If this card is lost then a replacement charge will be passed on which is £25. Pets are also welcome for a small extra charge. Please enquire. The house is also available on a long-term let basis for up to six months at a time. Satalite TV includes popular UK terestrial TV in addition to regular free-to-air channels. Sky channels are not provided. Channels includes are BBC 1,2,3, ITV1, Channel 4/5, ITV2 and free-view channels. Outside: The house has a patio and an upstairs roof terrace. Both these areas are very private and it would be difficult to be overlooked. There is also an area covered with artificial grass. There is also a community pool which is excellent and has always been extremely clean and well kept. This pool is shared however it benefits from have minimal usage. Sunbeds and a barbeque is a available. There is also a large six-person outside teak garden dinner table set to relax around. From the windows and terrace of the property, you can also enjoy views of the mountains, villages and in the distance you can see the view the ocean. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Guests staying seven days will have linen and towels provided. Guests may opt to request a change of towels and bed lined half way through their stay such as 10 day stay's or longer. Please bring your own towels for the beach. Other: DVD's and CD are not included within the property. Guests must also bring their own laptop or device. A cot and High chair can be provided for a small additional charge per item.

Perfect House

Very comfortable home from home

The property is well appointed and very comfortable. The beds are the best we have had in a rented property. The kitchen is well equipped and all appliances worked well. The garden was lovely and private to sit in and the terrace was great in the late afternoon as it protected you from the wind. The double glazing cut all noise so we slept very well and the new road works did not adversely affect us. The property is a few km outside of Corralejo and a car whilst not essential is preferable. The shopping centre is pretty deserted and there is only one bar/cafe, one pizza restaurant and a hyperdino supermarket left in La Capallania. There is a bus and taxi service if needed and Corralejo has loads of restaurants and shops. We stayed a month and really did not want to leave. We have booked to return next year.

Fantastic!!

A great stay in a very well appointed villa. Pretty much home from home as you'll find everything you need there. The swimming pool being just around the corner and the pool table in the garden were just perfect for the kids (and the big kids).

We hired a car for the duration of our stay although you could just as easy take the bus or a taxi. Location is great, nice and quiet but only a five minute or so drive to the main strip in Corralejo. Wifi was ideal for searching the web for things to do throughout our stay.

Hope to return again soon.

Overall impressions beautiful villa very peaceful setting with wonderful views of the mountains

Just back after spending 5 wonderful weeks at this very well maintained villa. Everything was spotless

The villa has everything you require we did bring some DVDs to keep us entertained but found enough

English channels with all the soaps etc. We enjoy walking local Spanish bar Pablos was 5 mins away

Bus stop & supermarket about 8 mins also pizza & pasta bar next to Pablos shooters sports bar behind Pablos they serve curry on Tuesday & Sunday lunch need to book as they don't serve food any other time. We ate out a lot & corralejo has so many wonderful restaurants just 6 mins by bus.

Most previous reviews have stated car needed we didn't bother & travelled all over the island just bought a Bono card 17 euros from the bus driver & topped up when required. A nice touch was every Monday during our stay sue arrived to change our towels & bedding. Our toaster stopped working phoned Dave was replaced next day. So enjoyed the privacy on both the terraces sunshine all day as its south facing.

Pool area very well maintained to be honest only went there a few times. Already planning our next holiday hopefully the dates will be available. Found eating out very reasonable & good value for money

Only two suggestions some egg cups & perhaps some small heater for lounge for those evenings when it gets a bit cooler all in all would recommend it's like being at home but with the sun.

Found the wi fi fabulous a real plus. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.

Awesome!!

We've been to Ventura Caprice site for a few years, and chose this apartment because of it's proximity to swimming pool on site....ideal for being able to sunbathe and watch kids at the same time. This is a well maintained development with security gates, and the current owners use on site contact to meet and greet/refer any queries. Pools (use between 9am to 10pm) are cleaned daily. The apartment had everything you need, although we didn't cook a thing during our stay as eating out is so reasonable! TV in apartment. WiFi perfect. Before you go home you can use the washing machine, and roof balcony used to ensure it all dries!

We find Corralejo ideal for the family. Straightforward 30 minutes drive from the airport....variety of beaches, from nearby wave beaches (older kids loved this one) to near the town beaches (kids enjoy rock pooling while you have a meal/drink on the beach). The more adventurous can even jump off the harbour wall (safe!). Or take a 30 min journey to the open beaches near El Cortillo . It's not a holiday to take in history etc, just enjoy the weather, chill, and watch the kids have a great time.

Coast/Beach:

The nearest beach is Flag Beach which is around 3km away. (5 mins by car or bus). This beautiful white sandy beach is popular with wind/kite surfers or those wishing to top-up their all over tans! The beach is very big and never suffers from over crowding. The beach stretches some 6 miles and is arguably one of the best on the island. There are smaller beaches around Corralejo harbour which too are excellent for swimming and sunbathing plus there are many bars available.

Travel:

Fuerteventura airport is approximately 30 minute drive away, and Corralejo harbour where you can hop across to Lanzarote is only 10 minutes away. Car hire is not essential, however to benefit from all that Fuerteventura has to offer, we always recommend to hire a car.

Distances:

Central Corralejo is around 3km away or approximately 50 minutes walk. (Not recommended with small children). Other popular destinations include the lovely old town of El Cotillo which is approximately 15km away or the capital of the island, Puerto del Rosario where you can spend all day shopping without worrying about afternoon siestas interrupting your spending, at the new Rotunda shopping centre. Puerto is around 30km away or approximately 25 minutes by car.

Further Details:

Corralejo town is now based around a busy port/marina that caters for the ferries that run between Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. There is also a range of tourist orientated activities that operate out of the port as well as a fishing fleet that is based there. There are many activities that operate including, glass bottom boats, trips to Lanzarote and Isla de Lobos, as well as fishing and snorkeling and diving trips.

There are several beaches in and around the town, totalling miles and miles of white golden sands. It is possible to learn how to take part in surfing, windsurfing and kite boarding activities, especially at Flag Beach a short distance south of Corralejo.

For those of you that prefer to keep your feet completely dry whilst having your holiday fun, there are plenty of shopping opportunities. A market is held at the Baku Water Park, on Monday and Friday mornings. There are several commercial centres scattered around the town, with a new one, the Miranda commercial centre opening soon.

There are amusement arcades and a couple of bowling alleys with 8 or 10 lanes. There is the usual array of mini golf courses and a few children's playgrounds, some of which are public areas. There are several companies that run all kinds of organised tours out of Corralejo. These include cycling, hiking, quad bike riding and the usual coach tours around the island. You could also hire a car, or use the local bus service to get around the island.

Corralejo is well placed for those of you with a sporting mind. Surfers like Corralejo because it has access to the north track, where some of the best surfing on the island is to be had, and ferries are available to the Isla de Lobos. The trip takes about 15 minutes, and when the waves are good the ferries do good business with the surfers.
