Cottage near Wadebridge, Cornwall, England - Peaceful, Romantic And A Short Drive To The Beach
Sister cottage to property 18015 the Mill is a stunning bolt hole set amongst the wilds of North Cornwall. Hustyn Mill is perfectly located for a stunning break in Cornwall. Perched on the edge of the valley overlooking Hustyn woods, Hustyn Mill is the perfect place to come and relax and wind down from the stress of everyday life. Positioned within striking distance of both the dramatic North coast and the soft undulating hills of the south but we don't think you'll want to be going anywhere for the first couple of days!

About the Owner
We're Richard and Niki and have a young family. Richard is a photographer and Niki is a producer and trainer of young event horses.
Richard was bought up in Cornwall in the very house they now live in, Niki is from just outside Cirencester in Gloucestershire.
We are passionate about where we live and can't wait to share it with others.
Whether it's spring, summer, autumn or winter, there's so much to do around here.
We look forward to meeting you.

If you want peace and quiet look no further. Richard is a very good, attentive host but only when you need him. The rest of the time he blends into the background, working on the farm. The Mill has been very tastefully restored with very good quality fixtures and fittings. Lovely comfy bed, which to me, with arthritis in my spine, is very important. Loved the log burner, lit it twice, took me back to my childhood. As someone else has said, the roads are a bit tricky in places, a lot of single track, twisty roads. Can thoroughly recommend the Mill and the owners.
Fantastic stay in tranquil surroundings
We were just settling into the Mill House when Richard the owner arrived and offered us an upgrade so we ended up staying in Dibble Cottage.
We would have been more than happy to stay in the Mill House as it is exactly as advertised and is quite special.
But never one to refuse an upgrade we moved over to Dibble Cottage. Again superb accommodation with an ideal appeal of modern, clean and stylish decoration with a rustic twist.
The under floor heating makes it very cosy. Richard also delivered us a basket of logs for the log burner which we had great fun with getting cosy in the evenings. Everything spotlessly clean and the bathroom a real touch of luxury.
We were able to borrow bikes from Richard and follow his instruction's which took us through Hustyn Woods onto the Camel trail and into Padstow.
We really enjoyed the seclusion of the property and the peace and quiet. A real retreat although not difficult to get to many of the places popular to visit.
Thanks for a great staycation
Total getaway from it all. Complete luxury in a beautiful setting. Kitchen is fantasic, with everything you could possibly need. Richard is a fantastic host, on hand if you need help but values your privacy. We would definately go back.
Cosy Bolthole Retreat
We stayed at the mill early to mid October for 5 nights as a base for exploring Cornwall. It was about a 10 -15 min drive from the centre of Wadebridge.
The mill is very cosy with a lovely wood burner as a focal point. All the kitchen cupboards and drawers are well equipped with a multitude of pots, pans and cutlery. Our tip for anyone staying more than a couple of days would be not to buy too many groceries at once; as the fridge is the only available food storage space. The bed is king size and comfortable with good linens and the spacious bathroom has a nice deep bath that you can sink into and you just want to stay there!
Richard the owner; is very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for him. He told us about his glamping tents further up the hillside and suggested we could take a look at one which was empty. We took him up on his suggestion and found the tent was well equipped and laid out with an innovative hidden feature to it, which made us laugh.
We found the mill to be a nice bolthole to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and very much enjoyed our Cornish break.
Wonderful Modern Mill House.
We stayed here for one week and loved every minute of it. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very modern and lovely and clean. There are hikes to take from the apartment and great views of the surrounding countryside. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Cornwall.
Lovely property in great location to explore the joys of Cornwall.
The property is a beautifully converted mill set in the grounds of a privately owned farm. Fully equipment with plenty of cooking utensils, boardgames and DVDs and a free basket of logs for those cosy nights in. The property is situated next door to the owner's house set down some steps but you are not overlooked at all and Richard (the owner) is on hand at any point to help out and provide tips on the delights of Cornwall.
The property is set several miles down a single track which may be tricky in certain conditions but we found only added to the magic of Cornwall- a very memorable stay.
From the Owner
“Richard grew up there but that I aside, we couldn't find anywhere more peaceful or beautiful. It's perfectly remote yet only three miles from the supermarket ! Close to the North and South coasts and out of the craziness of mid summer !”
