Overview

About the property

Cottage near Wadebridge, Cornwall, England - Peaceful, Romantic And A Short Drive To The Beach

Sister cottage to property 18015 the Mill is a stunning bolt hole set amongst the wilds of North Cornwall. Hustyn Mill is perfectly located for a stunning break in Cornwall. Perched on the edge of the valley overlooking Hustyn woods, Hustyn Mill is the perfect place to come and relax and wind down from the stress of everyday life. Positioned within striking distance of both the dramatic North coast and the soft undulating hills of the south but we don't think you'll want to be going anywhere for the first couple of days!

We're Richard and Niki and have a young family. Richard is a photographer and Niki is a producer and trainer of young event horses.

Richard was bought up in Cornwall in the very house they now live in, Niki is from just outside Cirencester in Gloucestershire.

We are passionate about where we live and can't wait to share it with others.

Whether it's spring, summer, autumn or winter, there's so much to do around here.

We look forward to meeting you.

Why Richard Pack chose Saint Breock

Richard grew up there but that I aside, we couldn't find anywhere more peaceful or beautiful. It's perfectly remote yet only three miles from the supermarket ! Close to the North and South coasts and out of the craziness of mid summer !

What makes this cottage unique

It truly is unique, you'll struggle to find a Cornish gem better than this one. Whether you love, walking, cycling, surfing or just plain chilling !

A marvelous stay....

Our week's stay couldn't have been nicer - perfect location, hosts and lodgings. We explored Cornwall daily, then returned " home" to warmth, quiet and comfort.

Tranquil

  • 4 of 5

If you want a tranquil location away from the town and roads then Hustyns Mine (Mill) is perfect. Set in the countryside the old mill provides a comfortable and tranquil setting to relax. With walks into the countryside if you want or simply relax indoors. Location is great for visiting most of Cornwall.

Really lovely space to wind down and take a break

  • 5 of 5

Lovely place, really modern and easy access to most places in Cornwall e.g. Eden Project, Newquay, Padstow and further afield. The owner Richard is really lovely too and will make sure you have a good time. Our favourite part of the trip was listening to the wildlife in the evening whilst having a bbq scoffing a burger and a ice cold cider... Perfection :)

Amazing

  • 5 of 5

We couldn’t ask for any more from our holiday home!, clean, modern, cosy and incredible views/ surroundings

Me and my fiancée visited the beaches of Cornwall with our dog and it was a perfect base and location to visit Padstow, the rock (20/25 mins) and Newquay (40mins), the cooking facilities were brilliant, we was able to cook breakfast and evening meals, there are a few supermarkets all within a 10min drive, Richard was a brilliant host and made us feel welcome

Couldn’t recommend enough!

The perfect escape

  • 5 of 5

We stayed three nights at the Mill House and our biggest regret is not having booked for longer! Absolutely stunning house in a beautiful location. The wood burner was one of our favourite amenities but the serenity had us in love immediately. Stepping outdoors all you could hear were the birds, and the small waterfall in the distance. One clear night the sky was lit with countless stars and we felt in absolute bliss soaking in the darkness and silence. A perfect stay.

Fantastic property in a stunning location. A must visit!

  • 5 of 5

We had the most perfect 4 days here at Hustyn Mine Park staying in this fantastic mill. Richard is a fantastic host whose attention to detail was clear to see. From the warm welcome to the milk, coffee, sugar and tea provided alongside the best ginger biscuits we have ever had! The property is modern and unique but warm and homely at the same time. The view when walking out of the front door is breathtaking with some lovely walks through the forests right on your door step. A perfect base for visiting north cornwall, excellent hopsitality and would recommend to anykne visiting the area! Thank you so much and we will be seeing you again soon! Dan and Gemma
