Very enjoyable doggy holiday

  • 4 of 5

Silsden is a lovely little village with lots of shops, pubs and eating places, lovely duck pond, and only a 5 minute drive from croft cottage, entry to the cottage is 3pm,the journey from home was quicker then expected so we went into Haworth which is a must visit as it's so beautiful,as we have 3 dogs you are limited to what shops etc you can go in and we didn't want to walk the first day and have to get back in the car all muddy so had a slow drive from Haworth to croft cottage hoping we could maybe get in earlier,it was 2 pm but no key so went for another drive, arrived back at 2:30 and cottage was being cleaned so we didn't end up getting in till 3:30,real wow factor when you pull up,it's just the right amount of rural, enclosed safe garden for dogs send kids and further paddock was sheep free, cottage was lovely and clean and very spacious, the only negatives were beds not made up and no bread, milk, eggs and cake as described in listing, there was a couple of eggs and left over milk from previous tenant, was disappointed in this as I had literally bought everything else other then what was supposed to be there, strangely enough though everything I did take was already in the cottage, dishwashing tablets, foil, oil and basically every basic thing you would need, our dogs slept in the kitchen a night and had the heat from the aga so we're very happy, beds very comfy but pillows very high unless you sleep on your back, loads of clean towels, games and DVDs,bathrooms are beautiful as are all the rooms, would have been nice to have a welcome pack of logs for the burners but these can be purchased, lovely walks from the cottage,we did a 15 mile round walk to skipton across the moors, did get a bit lost but the water tower next to the cottage is a good land mark,we had a problem with the heating and Amy came up straight away to fix it ( thankyou),amazing unspoilt views, have recommended to friends and family and would definatly return,Jamie,Rebecca,Jack,Isobelle, whippet boys Ronnie,Eddie and badger (27th December-30th 2016)

Comfortable Country Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Lovely comfortable cottage. Quiet location - lovely paddock for the dogs. Everything you need - woodburners would be great in the cold weather - we luckily did not need them for our long weekend! Owners friendly and happy to help if needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Cottage in lovely surroudings near to Skipton and other amenities.

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is lovely we could not fault the cleanliness and the facilities. We read beforehand that there are two fires that they would be made up and wood would be provided. They weren't and there was only a small amount of kindling. It also said that some milk, eggs cake/biscuits would be there on arrival but there weren't any. If they are not providing these items please do not say you are. We hade a lovely stay and would recommend this property to other people. We visited Skipton, went on the Steam railway. Visited Bolton Abbey, Ingleton water falls. They are all worth visiting.

Well-situated cosy cottage with amazing views

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was very comfortable and we enjoyed the toasty-warm kitchen with its Aga. Everything was spotlessly clean and the rooms well-equipped. We appreciated the extra touch of bread, milk and cookies upon arrival. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean and well-equipped. Crofts Cottage has amazing views of the surrounding countryside and was a relaxing and quiet place to stay. Definitely recommended.
