A modern, contemporary styled and recently refurbished three bedroom family home. Situated in a breathtaking location a short stroll from the sandy family friendly surf beach of Porth and gorgeous sheltered sandy activities beach at Lusty Glaze; the house is ideal for young families, small groups and surf addicts alike!!! Newquay town centre with its eclectic range of shops, cafés restaurants and nightlife is just 10 minutes walk across the beautiful headland and the world famous surfing beach at Fistral is a short 5 minute car ride. Walk from our house along the beautiful headland North to Watergate bay to sample the amazing food at The Beach Hut, one of Cornwalls best beach-side hang outs or spoil yourself at the renowned Watergate Bay Hotel. At low tide you can walk back home along the beautiful sandy beach!! Closer to home we are conveniently situated in the grounds of Glendorgal Hotel, here you can kick back, enjoy the amazing views over Porth Beach and the stunning North Cornwall Coast whilst enjoying the warm hospitality in comfortable surroundings. Here there is a friendly bar and brasserie and you will also have use of the hotel swimming pool and spa facilities as part of your stay (small charge at hotel) ! A short walk leads onto the River Gannel, a tidal river where at low tide you can walk along to the spectacular Crantock Beach, wide sandy and family friendly! Our lovely house provides reverse accommodation! On the ground level there is an entrance hallway with storage and w.c off. This leads to the spacious open plan lounge diner with wall to wall windows front and rear. There are sea views to the front, and a delightful south facing decking area to the rear, ideal for lazy breakfasts and BBQ. The kitchen is modern and well fitted with all required integrated appliances, granite work tops and is stocked with top of the range kitchen appliances. There is oak flooring throughout on this level and excellent quality furnishings. The dining table comfortably seats 6 and we provide games, DVD's, books, PS3 player for your use. On the ground floor you will find 3 generous bedrooms each with doors leading out to patio garden areas. Bed 1 has a super kingsize bed, fully tiled en suite wet room. Bedroom 2 a double with fully tiled en suite wet room. Bedroom 3 a large twin room with fully tiled en suite wet room. Beyond bedroom 2 is a handy laundry room and store, ideal for drying off wet suits, surf boards etc and is furnished with washing machine and separate tumble dryer. The property provides 1 allocated car parking space but there is guest parking and plenty of parking in the hotel car park too.

Absolutely fabulous

We were down from the Midlands for a family wedding and staying in this property made it all the more special. All of our family loved it the facilities are great just a home from home. The beaches are literally 2 minutes walk if you enjoy the surf, ideally situated. We only had a long weekend but will book a longer holiday next summer.

Excellent

Just spent 5 days in this stunning house with 2 other couples. It was exactly as described and more. Well equipped. Lots of room to have your own space each couple having their own bedroom and bathroom which were spotlessly clean. Great location for getting out and about yet within walking distance of Newquay centre and local beaches.

Excellent comfortable house in great location!

We have had a great week staying in this lovely house! It is really spacious and furnished comfortably, with additional items such as books, board games and DVDs for our use. The location is fantastic; we travelled here by train and with our 3 young children we had no problems walking into Newquay (25 minutes) and a choice of beautiful beaches on our doorstep. (5 minute walk to Porth, Lusty Glaze and a little further to Whipsiderry). The house is in a quiet, unoverlooked area with a nice decking area for eating. Tesco Express is close by but we had a delivery at the start of the week to save us having frequent shopping trips. We didn't use the hotel pool as it was very pricey to have just a swim but on one cloudy day we found 'Waterworld' next to Newquay zoo was a great place to go. Thank you Claire and Gabriele Wax for such lovely holiday accommodation - would definitely book again!

Fantastic holiday home in a great location

We stayed here for a week and only wished we had stayed longer. The house was modern, clean, spacious, very well equipped and was in the perfect location close to all the wonderful beaches. The bed in the king size room was especially comfortable. We would definitely like to stay here again.

Perfect location for easy access to everything you would need for a perfect holiday. We just wish we could live here all the time!!!

Coast/Beach:

2 minutes walk to Lusty Glaze Activity beach and approximately 3-4 minutes walk to Porth beach. Other local beaches all within 10-15 minutes walk. Fistral surf beach is approximately 5minutes by car or a 20 minute walk.
