The Sail Loft is a beautiful newly refurbished South Devon holiday let, finished to a high spec, with all the creature comforts you could possibly need. Set over two floors, it gives you ample space for a comfortable family holiday or holiday with friends. Located 3 miles upstream from Dartmouth, it benefits from stunning views of the River Dart from the master bedroom and decking. You only need to step outside to take full advantage of the panoramic views from the land of Galmpton Touring Park, or take one of the numerous walks through the stunning Devonshire countryside right from your doorstep, to witness the beauty of the River Dart or Torbay coast. The property is set conveniently on the edge of Galmpton village, near Brixham, with a great local pub, serving good food and local ales, a butchers and village store, all only a 5 minute walk away. A short walk from the Sail Loft will see you into the Greenway Estate, beautiful riverside land and summer house of Agatha Christie, now a National Trust Property, well worth a visit. Greenway Quay, just under a mile from the Sail Loft offers a variety of ferry services, to Dartmouth, Totnes or across the river to Dittisham, where there is a brilliant waterside pub, The Ferry Boat Inn and a wonderful fresh local fish cafe. Dartmouth and Totnes are beautiful, historic towns which offer a variety of shops, boutiques, delis, pubs, cafes and restaurants galore serving fresh local seafood. Both packed with historic interest, with castles to visit & seaside to explore. If you prefer you can catch the Steam Train from Greenway Hault, a 10 minute walk from The Sail Loft holiday accommodation, and head straight to Dartmouth, Paignton or Torquay by train. Or for the more active person hire your own kayak or canoe locally and make your own way there or up river to the famous Sharpham Vineyard! There are numerous sandy beaches close by suitable for visiting on your family holiday and for swimming in the sea or exercising your dog in. The whole area is extremely dog friendly, ferrys, buses, trains, pubs and restaurants all allowing your furry friends!

The property is perfect for a family holiday, or holiday with friends, great for walking, boating & exploring the delights the South Hams and Torbay have to offer. There are numerous interesting tourist attractions close by, with tonnes of things to entertain the children and adults alike. We are always right next door in our reception and very happy to advise or help plan your days out.

Notes on accommodation: The property provides dog friendly holidays, dogs are welcome however must stay downstairs & must not be allowed on any furniture. There is a dog walking area available by the property. The property has a spiral staircase leading to upstairs. The property may use the laundry room with large commercial washers and dryers of the touring park next door as well as the park shop and information area. Outside: The property has a decked outside area suitable for barbecuing and sitting outside. There is also a dog walking area that the property has access to as well as the 10 acres of the Touring Park. Utility Room: Separate entrance cloakroom but no utility room Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed Linen & Bath towels are included and all beds will be freshly made up.

Saturday is our change over day. Holidays are weekly however on certain occasions we may be able to accommodate s short break of 4 days or more, please call to discuss.
