There is a dedicated parking space directly outside the property, outside patio area for alfresco dining, and fully equiped kitchen for all your self-catering requirements. It is a fantastic base from which to explore Cardiff Bay, the water taxi to Mermaid quay or the Millenium stadium is a 5 minute walk from the house. The marina itself is quiet and wonderful to stroll around, afterwards enjoying a respite at the many restaurants such as Pier 64 or Custom House ,all 5 minutes away so no need for a taxi and the Compass Cafe serving great food overlooking the marina .Inside the house the newly refurbished kitchen boasts an induction hob, dishwasher, excellent oven and brand new appliances throughout. It is open plan with the living room allowing for a fun and inclusive entertaining space. There is a LCD TV wall mounted at the foot of the stairs and inclusive WIFI. 31 Plasse St Andresse has been refitted with the utmost care and attention to detail to ensure that guests have a relaxing and carefree stay. Cosy house in a great location with fantastic views of the marina. It is clean and modern with a dedicated car parking space right outside the house. Good communication and quick response from Clare. Had a nice dinner at Pier 64 which is only a 5 minute walk from the house. Thanks Clare for an amazing and relaxing stay!
A very special Christmas in Penarth
We were bowled over by the attention to detail - Christmas decorations made a festive welcome, plenty of quality kitchen ware to cater for Christmas dinner, space to relax and enjoy time away from home. The location was ideal with opportunities for sea air to blow away the cobwebs of City life. It was truly a special Christmas. Thank you
Perfect location and high standards
I had the delight of spending the month of May in this lovely home. I could not have asked for more than was provided. The property was immaculate, kitchen had everything I ever would have needed, the linens were superior and the location is fabulous. I have stayed in many properties near Cardiff, but this one is superior.Thank you so much!
Ireland Rugby Weekend in Cardiff
We had a fabulous weekend in Cardiff, especially Penarth Marina was beautiful & relaxing. It set the atmosphere for our weekend break. We loved Pier 64 and the little compass cafe next door, lovely helpful staff and food in both.
The apartment was great with all mod cons, proximity to shops, restaurants, walks, bars and a short spin into the city centre, I will definitely be recommending it to everyone.
We stayed from Sat 23/5 until Wednesday 27/5 and couldn't be happier. Immaculate property with everything we could have asked for and more. Perfect location, close to everything we wanted to visit. Recommend the water bus, only £2 one way.
Would come back and stay anytime ;)
What an amazing discovery
Too often you arrive at your holiday accommodation only to be disappointed, BUT NOT ON THIS OCCASSION. This delightful property was clean, sparkling, well equipped and decorated to a very high standard. Location ideal for visiting Cardiff centre as well as Penarth, which has high quality restaurants on the sea front Would have no hesitation in re booking.

“I purchased the house last October and it has been completely refurbished to an extremely high standard. I currently work within the Luxury super yacht industry and want to implement the standards I am accustomed to here, within the house in Penarth. I love Penarth, the marina,the barrage and mermaid quay. The location is just superb. The accommodation is incredibly quiet at night but you are minutes from the Cardiff town centre should you wish to indulge in a night out. The surrounding areas are perfect when wishing to dine out, purchase food for the house or take the water taxi to Mermaid Quay to continue an evening out.”
Activity and Interests
Penarth beach and its newly refurbished pier is a five minute drive away.
Penarth train station is minutes away . You can use bikes everywhere ,we are on the coastal path which takes you across the barrage and into Cardiff itself.
The water taxi takes you across the bay and into Cardiff or to the Millenium Centre .A little train will take you across the barrage and into mermaid quay where there are restaurants, tapas bars, shops and the Dr Who exhibition.
You are minutes from the town centre and John Lewis !
A five minute walk will take you to the barrage ,restaurants ,shops, just enjoy the great outdoors!
With the White Water Rafting centre, olympic sized pool,cinema at the Penarth Pier, Cardiff Devils ice rink ,and a Tescos in walking distance ,it is ideal.

A non refundable deposit of £100 will secure your booking with the balance payable one month prior to arrival. We will block the calendar to allow the deposit to be paid. Bookings of 4 days or less need to be paid in full when booking.
Should this deadline be up we will release the dates.
We also request a refundable deposit cheque of £100 which will be destroyed once our manager confirms the house was left in good condition and the keys in the box.
Flexible changeover days.
Arrival after 3 pm and we ask guests to depart by 10.30.
We have a manager who meets all our guests on arrival.
Notes on prices:
There are different rates for corporate usage or long term lets. Also high volume dates such as the rugby will incur a premium, but not expensive .Happy to discuss .
A non refundable deposit is required to secure your booking .
Balance of payment is due one month prior to your visit.
If you have to cancel we will endeavour to re- let the period, if successful the deposit will be refunded ,less the administrative fee of £50 .
We recommend you take out holiday cancellation insurance .
Should you wish to book we ask for a deposit of £100 to secure your booking with the balance payable one month prior to your visit .
We acknowledge receipt of all monies and send all arrival details and relevant information once the final balance is paid.
We prefer on line payment but cheques are accepted.

- Description of sleeping capacity: Sleeps 4 (2 Bedrooms) Notes on bedrooms: Master bed has a king size bed, a walk in wardrobe with ample hanging space and shelving. Enjoy the views of the marina from the bedroom window, relaxing in the rattan pod chair. The second bedroom has a double bed, ample hanging space and sea views.
- Notes on accommodation: This is a non smoking house. The marina is very quiet and is maintained to a high standard. We ask guests to respect this. We are unable to accept dogs. We do not accept hen or stag parties.The principle key holder must be over 25 years old. Please do not hang washing over the fence,there is a small line available. Outside: There is one dedicated parking space for the house, leading into the private patio area. With clematis and herbs planted ,a bar b que and aluminium furniture on which to rest and enjoy the views .This is a sun trap during the day with views of the Millennium Stadium across the Bay. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All beds are made up for your arrival with the best 400 thread bedding ,with feather and down duvets and pillows. All towels are white and fluffy ,Egyptian cotton. Cleaning is carried out prior to arrival and on departure. Hair dryer in master bedroom Other: The whole kitchen,dining and living space are totally integrated for modern living,allowing all guests to interact together.
