“Hawks View” is set amongst beautiful terraced gardens behind private gates & walls making the property very secluded. It is an extremely pretty villa with flowers everywhere & many private areas for relaxation. You will love our swimming pool! Besides being a big pool it not only looks beautiful, but being a salt water pool is wonderful to swim in. The sun shines on the pool and surrounding area all day & looks fantastic when lit up at night. The area around the pool has been safely gated so is very family friendly but in no way looks at all ugly. This lovely villa has wonderful views of the sea to the south and a beautiful green valley to the west. “Hawks View” is the ideal location for relaxation, for being in contact with nature & to be able to experience the real Algarve. The villa, although only 12 years old, has been built to represent an old Quinta (Portuguese for farmhouse). It has loads of character with many vaulted ceilings. This keeps the property cool in the summer periods. The interior has been sympathetically & tastefully decorated over two floors occupying 342 sq metres. The upper floor being terraced outside wraps around the property giving magnificient views and is just lovely is enjoy both during the day and evening.

My name is Johnathan Warder and my wife is called Jo. We have been coming to this beautiful part of Europe for 25 years. We have always loved the people and found them hospitable & very friendly. I play golf myself and I believe that the region of the Algarve has some of the best courses in Europe and definitely the greatest choice within a small radius.

I am a retired retail director and appreciate good food and wine. The Algarve provides this with great value suiting every budget.

I am proud of this property, it is a comfortable home first & foremost. This is a fantastic holiday villa, and although being only 10 years old, was built in a traditional style Quinta. It has been furnished & decorated sympathetically with the values of modern comforts

The charm of this traditional property is lovely. The superb salt water swimming pool area has a sense of space & relaxation. The fantastic sea views aditionally countryside views offer peace and relaxation with being so close to nature but being 5mins.to the heart of loule.

The property has a huge sense of spaciousness with vaulted ceilings and traditional craftsmanship and the comfort of a real home.

The gardens & patios are laid out in terraces offering plenty of space not to be on top of each other. Again, inside the villa, because of the two lounges and the four dining areas, there is a feeling of space which is ideal when a number of people occupy the villa at one time.

Various terraces outside double bedrooms & lower lounge. All with seating areas & stunning views. Private terrace with table & chairs outside double bedroom looking out over pool. Terrace outside upper lounge facing south. Terraced gardens with lighting, shrubs, olive trees, orange & pomegranite, pine & very mature palm trees offering secluded areas for relaxation, quiet reading etc. There is also a table tennis table in the grounds. All areas are available with lighting. Utility Room: Commercial washing machine, drying area, sink, boiler, cleaning equipment & storage area, cupboards,storage. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bathroom towels, tea-towels & bedlinen provided. Guests to bring their own swimming towels as towels provided are not for use around the swimming pool or beach. Villa cleaned & linen changed weekly. More often can be arranged at extra cost. Other: Lower snug/lounge with 1 leather rocking chair & foot stall, coffee tables. Bookcase with books & games. Very relaxing with french doors overlooking valley views.

Beautiful home

The property was very clean and had everything you could possibly need .We had three young children with us the house was very well equipped for them . The house is in a beautiful position and the town of Loule is well worth a visit . Would definitely return .

Stunning, Peaceful Piece of Heaven

This house is amazing - very gracious and understated - we loved the fact there were so many different outside areas (terraces to have a drink and watch the sunset, outside dining, seating by the pool) ensuring even with 10 of us we never felt crowded. The views are truly astonishing. The pool is one of the best I've been in - it's huge and square - though the lighting around it didn't work at night but we brought candles and swum by candlelight! The bedrooms are very well appointed with plenty of cupboard space and comfortable beds - All rooms bar the 5th bedroom open out onto the garden and all (bar the 5th again) have air con. When the air con in one room stopped working - all the stops were pulled out to get a very helpful guy to come and get it going for us again which happened as soon as we phoned the owner.

The local town Loulé is very charming with great shops and a wonderful market - more French tourists than English and a lovely French Traiteur where you can buy delicious salads, meats and salamis. Of course all the Portuguese delicacies in the market too. Loulé also has many very good restaurants - extraordinarily good value for money - our favourite was 'Angola' which we discovered on Tripadvisor - quite basic but quite clearly with a very loyal local clientele - often queue's out the door - family run, very friendly, simple, very fresh food beautifully cooked. Fantastic beaches nearby but you do need a car. Our only tiny gripe would be that the 5th bedroom wasn't really like a proper bedroom - no air con, strip lighting and no exterior windows (more like an emergency bedroom if you have extra teenagers staying) - however this doesn't take away from the perfection of the rest and we would still give 5 stars! We wouldn't hesitate to book this house again.

Ticked all the boxes! Lovely location, quiet and not overlooked.

We stayed here for 2 weeks last August. 2 families with late teenage kids. The house is in a beautiful location overlooking the countryside, it is quiet and not overlooked. The house and grounds are boardered by walls and electric gate, so very secure.

The pool area is well maintained and has shaded areas for relaxing. The outside kitchen and dining area were used every day and had a lovely view.

The house is well equipped and bedrooms/bathrooms are lovely. The twin room downstairs does not have any natural light, but is fine for just sleeping in.

A car is necessary and it takes about 10-15 mins to drive into the town, where there is an amazing market daily and lots of good restaurants.

The owner and local agent are very contactable and helpful if anything is needed.

Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

The property is in an excellent location in the hills just outside of Loule, which is a lovely town. The position and layout of the villa is fantastic allowing the most spectacular views over the countryside in the evening with beautiful sunsets.

The property has many terraces outside to enjoy and the rooms inside are great with lots of space and storage. We really enjoyed the BBQ area for lunches and dinner.

The pool is large and refreshing to cool down in with a really great shaded area in the corner of the pool terrace that has a comfy sofa and chairs, which is great if you don't want to be in direct sun all day.

It's a great base to explore the region but whilst we took quite a few trips out, it seemed a shame to be away from the place.

The owner John is very helpful throughout the whole process, offering advice and information. We had an issue with the wifi on the 1st day, which was fixed straight away without issue. The welcome pack was appreciated (milk, bread etc) and a lot of time has obviously been taken to provide as much useful information as possible in the folder provided.

John provided details beforehand of a great taxi driver, who picked our friends up from the airport one evening. Very reasonable at around 30 euros.

We actually didn't need to use the aircon that much as there is a nice breeze that blows, especially in the evening.

The main supermarket is about a 5 minute drive away down the bottom of the hill and just before Loule. There's a good selection of everything available and it's open quite late.

It's probably not best suited for the very young or old due to the number of steps due to being a multi level property but we found it to be perfect an

The local town of Loule is well worth a visit. There is the walled castle & a delightful historic walk of the town. The undercover indoor market is held daily providing fresh fish, meat & vegetables. There is also a weekly market held on a Saturday. Excellent choice of supermarkets, traditional bars & restaurants offering excellent value. Many individual shops selling traditional Portuguese fayre including the typical pottery.

Vilamoura has a cosmopolitan marina with restaurants, bars & nightlife

including casino & live shows.
