Apartment in Cressbrook, Nr. Bakewell, Derbyshire Dales, England - Beautiful, Tranquil Setting By The River Wye With Direct Access To Varied Walks And Cycling

'Brook Corner' in Bobbin Mill is a lovely South facing apartment in part of the historic Cressbrook Mill. The views over the fields are to the River Wye, the Monsal Trail and the hills of Monsal Dale. Perfect location for walking and cycling with great local pubs and restaurants near by. Communal grounds with a bowling green, outdoor seating and a games room. Leave the double glazed windows open for the sound of running water from the stream in front or from the river to the side.

The standard changeover day is Saturday.

Short breaks (3 days or more) are available during off-peak seasons - please enquire.

About the Owner

We live next door to the apartments and have done since Summer 2000 when Cressbrook Mill was redeveloped. So we can personally recommend the location, walks and surrounding area. It also means we are on hand for key collection or any queries during your stay without being intrusive.

Although only recently advertised with Owners Direct we have run the apartment as a holiday let since 2007. Please note that the internal photos are from 2014 though!

Fantastic little gem!

Fabulous apartment to stay in. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Location is perfectly placed for Monsal Trail, Bakewell and surrounding area. Lovely quiet peaceful place. Owners nice&friendly and left little treats to welcome us!

Will definitely be back.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: Apartment is in a new build with storage heaters, well insulated and double glazed - so is always warm if you like it that way. Travel cot and high chair available. WiFi internet but at rural speed! Outside: Communal grounds including all weather bowling green and seating areas. Dedicated parking space in underground car park and additional visitor spaces outside. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bed linen included. Cleaning, towel/linen changed weekly for stays of 2 weeks or more. Other: Hallways are spacious and there are two large closets/storage cupboards (one with the hot water tank - megaflo system for good pressure). Use of communal games room with snooker, pool and table tennis.
