Apartment in Caernarfon, North Wales - Only 2 Minutes Walk From The Historic Walled Town With Its Castle, Shops, Cafes And Restaurants

This stunning 3 bedroom waterside apartment is part of the Doc Fictoria marina complex, located close to the centre of the ancient walled town of Caernarfon and its castle, a UNESCO world heritage site.The property is ultra-modern, light and spacious, and boasts amazing views over the Menai Straits. The accommodation is arranged over 3 floors, with a games room on the ground floor; an open plan kitchen/dining/living room on the first floor; and 3 bedrooms on the upper floor. There are views of the castle and 2 separate balconies provide spectacular sea views. A short traffic free stroll past the marina and through the ancient walls brings you into Caernarfon town where you will find a wealth of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. The Snowdonia National Park is only a 10 minute drive away, and the Isle of Anglesey with many beaches and other attractions is only 15 minutes. This really is the perfect base to explore the North Wales region.

The photographs do not do it justice! The apartment was fantastic with high end fixtures and furnishings. Felt at home immediately. Apartment was spotless and I would highly recommend staying here. Great base for visiting North Wales.

Great Apartment

A really well equipped apartment. Lots of space, nice and warm.

The games room was really appreciated by my teenage sons.

Location ideal for exploring along the coast and into Snowdonia.

Would definitely recommend it.

Excellent: impossible to fault

We found the apartment scrupulously clean and punctiliously maintained. It was very well equipped - particularly with a wide range of traditional and electronic games - and, if anything, exceeded our expectations.

Its situation is good; a short walk from the historic town centre where there's a very good range of restaurants. Fine views from the main bedrooms.

A home from home in a perfect location - fabulous!

I don't normally write reviews but felt compelled to following our holiday at Menai View. This is a wonderful place to stay within easy reach of all the major attractions in North Wales. The apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious and furnished to an exceptionally high standard. We felt at home from the moment we stepped through the door. As a family of 4 we could really spread out and not feel on top of each other which can be typical of some holiday accommodation. The views from both balconies of the Menai Straits are lovely and you are only 5 mins from the centre of Caernarfon. There is a Morrisons supermarket across the road so you don't have to go far for your shopping and there are lots of places to eat within walking distance. We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked our holiday here for 2017! Communication with the owners was excellent and we would not hesitate to recommend this property for a North Wales holiday.

Fabulous Apartment

What a wonderful apartment which lived up to and exceeded all expectations. The attention to detail and the welcoming pack made this apartment stand out beyond others we have stayed in. Just having a pint of milk in the fridge when you arrive after a long journey meant so much. The apartment is ideally located for so many different activities and places to visit. The children loved the pool table and the crabbing kits. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Wales. Paula
