The property is fully air-conditioned (converting to heaters in the winter months) .There are large ceiling fans in the lounge and bedroom to help cool down after a day in the Cyprus sun. Great communication with the apartment owner before we booked and we really enjoyed our stay.



Would recommend a hire car when staying in this area, we travelled to places like Coral Bay whilst staying here.

A quiet location and just a short walk to Polis square. However, polis beach is quite a walk.

This is quite a modern apartment on a well maintained complex in a residential area. The apartment is on the 3rd level and has amazing views. However, the sun doesn't reach the verandah until late on in the afternoon so if you want to sit out and eat in the sunshine, forget it. The apartment is on a corner and at times quite a chilly breeze can blow across the verandah. Something to bear in mind depending what time of year you go. There is also a slight smell coming from the outside drains.

The description of the apartment in my opinion is over rated and feel that it is looking rather tired and would benefit from a fresh coat of paint and a good clean, especially in the kitchen and bathroom areas.

We had a problem in the apartment during our stay but after emailing the owner, she responded quickly and it was resolved.

I would recommend car hire, as Polis is a small place but there are some beautiful villages to visit within a short drive.

Owner's Response: We are delighted that you enjoyed the spectacular views from the apartment . From May to September the balcony is bathed in glorious sunshine . It is unfortunate however that you were unable to enjoy this, as the sun moves around to this area much later in October . It is a shame that you described the minor technical issue with the TV digibox as a "problem with the apartment " but we are please that you were satisfied that we arranged for it to be re coded at the earliest possible opportunity. We take the satisfaction of our customers very seriously and always do everything in our power to ensure that guests have the best possible stay .

Fabulous Apartment with Amazing Views

My husband and I stayed in this fabulous apartment in October 2016. The apartment has the wow factor. The glass patio doors, which stretch across the whole length of the apartment, opened out onto a lovely balcony with a table and chairs and lots of candles. The views from here are fantastic. Every evening, when the sun was now longer shining around the pool area, my husband and I sat on our balcony and watched the sun set over the mountains and sea.

The pool was perfect for my husband as one side of it was completely straight so he could swim lengths, which he cannot do if the pool is round. The pool area is lovely as all the residents in the complex keep the apartments to a very high standard with beautiful patio areas and one of the resident's husband, tends the communal gardens and waters them daily. It is very pleasing to the eye when you are in the pool or just lounging on your sunbeds. There is no need to rush out each morning to get a sunbed as there is always one available.!A huge plus!

As we arrived late at night, the lady who cleans the apartment, kindly did some shopping for us and it was waiting in the fridge when we arrived and she only charged us five euros for doing this. An excellent service. We just emailed her with our list of shopping. Fabulous !

The apartment had lots of DVD's to watch and Wi-Fi was available and we were able to listen to our favourite radio station through our I-phone and there was also a docking station with a speaker.

There was also Zumba classes on twice a week and Aquarobics on once a week and guests were encouraged to join in. There is a supermarket about three hundred yards away, which was very convenient. The town centre took us about fifteen minutes to walk to and there were lots of lovely restaurants to choose from, all reasonably priced. We had cocktails every night at Viva Polis. Well worth a visit. We also walked to Latchi one day, using the coastal walk. We had lunch at the Marina and then walked back and stopped at a fabulous beach bar on Polis Beach.

We would recommend this apartment to our friends and family and will most definitely being going back ourselves.

Situated approximately 5mins drive away from Polis and Argaka Beaches, Lachi harbour is approx 4km away (6mins by car) and offers a variety of water sports including jet ski, boat hire, snorkeling/ scuba, and fishing. The harbour front provides an array of chic bars and restaurants, serving local fish, traditional Cypriot, and international dishes, aprox 20mins from Pomos beach and approx 45mins drive from Coral bay and Paphos.

Polis gardens is situated within easy walking distance of local amenities. Approximately 5mins walk to a large modern supermarket, approximately 10mins walk to central Polis shops, banks,Polis square tavernas and restaurants.

Further Details:

Cyprus is renowned for it warm climate and year round sunshine. Polis is situated in the western most point of Cyprus bordered by the Akamas peninsular national park and the Troudos Mountains. This corner of Cyprus is the least developed part, where the wilderness of the Akamas and authentic Cypriot hospitality lends an air of calm and tranquility. The area from Yialia to Polis is a major nesting site of the Loggerhead turtles and it has been included in the Natura 2000 network.This is the most highly protected area in Cyprus. A (U.N.E.S.C.O. classified region). This protects it from over development in what is considered to be the most pristine beautiful spot in Cyprus.

The main town of Polis has every amenity but retains its ancient charm. The quaint fishing harbour of Lachi with it's chic bars and fish restaurants peer out across the turquoise seas of Chrysochu bay to the Akamas nature conservation area complete with hiking and cycle trails, fabulous sunsets and stunning unspoilt beaches. For the more adventurous you can explore the vast unspoilt Akamas trails by quad bike or hire a speedboat from nearby Lachi Harbour and snorkel or dive the lagoons.

The approach roads to the area are surrounded by citrus and olive groves, vineyards, banana plantations, forest glades and sleepy monasteries. The famous baths of Aphrodite (the Greek goddess of love) are in close proximity.

Further round the coast at Lara beach, lies one of only two sites in the world which hosts the breeding ground of the rare loggerhead turtle. The area is home to an array of endemic wild flowers and birds.

In the centre of Polis is the old town square. It has an abundance of taverna's serving a selection of dishes including traditional Cypriot Meze and fresh local fish .The square is lively in the evening, creating an ambiance of traditional hospitality and relaxation.
